Anyone know any shops that sell fan filter conectors,as we have tried loads of shops in our area ,and all they say is use Duct tape.

Yo Hashishin, aluminium tape doesn't slip like duct with warmth but it aint light tight usually.

Try asking for hose clamps, greens horticulture amongst others sell them or just use a few strong plastic zip ties together.

Lurk.

Another vote for cable ties, get the big fat ones and pull them tight. I opted for a good wrapping of duct tape on top to try and get a good seal.

Hash, try and get one of the glue aerosols that Asbestos strippers use,my brother uses it to create areas of negative pressure with plastic sheeting,it glues and holds ANYTHING,genuine airtight seal, then cable-tie for extra strength.

Hash, What do you mean fan filter connectors mate? Something to connect two lengths of duct together? Excuse me if I'm wrong

'Interesting to see how your AK does outdoors Eddie,' -cheers Buddymate-i've been told that AK does ok outside in the UK so fingers crossed. Good luck with your rather larger outdoor effort.
Noticed that Hollands Hope seems popular for outdoor in the UK-will have to look into that...

otherwise-Maxicrop have recently brought out a seaweed concentrate rooting and transplant aid called Take Root. It's £2.99 for 250ml-used @2ml/L. I'm trying it for the first time-generally their seaweed extracts are v good so check them out.

now i'm off to buy some of those cheapo fans-tx Jamrock

cheers

Hollands Hope is low in Potency eddie,I only bought them as a trial run,if they are fine then I will buy something a little more expensive for next year and clone for outdoors,I only got them to see if modern day Fems hermie,I nought some fems back in 1999 when they were first introduced and they hermied, hence this trial run,be lucky :D

I think this must be where all the other suppliers get theirs from, then slap on £15. Have ordered from a couple of other places before i discovered this one and predators came in identical packaging. Really quick delivery etc, only draw back is they only accept major credit cards (no switch-solo-electron etc).

Desperate to find cheap thermostatic fan controller before summer (ha ha) gets here. Any ideas???

im with you eddie, even cost effective if you double them up for strength.

I dont want to get into a dont spray chemicals debate' but if youve not already tried the westlands bug attack deffence for spidermites I can report it is 100% efficent....ive never sprayed more then twice to totally eradicate the problem as it preventions there return, after years of useing expensive neem products and others that never quite worked, this stuffs a godsend
