What's poppin' everyone!! Back from vacation, back to work. It's not so bad, especially with the most absolutely amazing news I received a couple days after I got back. I'll be revealing that news when the time is right. It's just that good.
I felt pretty comfortable leaving for a week with the care of my precious lovelies in my partner's hands. I must say, he did a GREAT job. I was really happy when I came back and found that everything was still intact and the plants were all still alive.
A-Loc - Yeah man, I'm really looking forward to this go around too. I'm comfortable in the new spot now and I can pay attention to other details rather than stressing getting the place set up.
oohcow - I left the lights high before I left for vacation because the first couple weeks of flower the plants stretch and I didn't want my partner to have to fuck with raising the lights if they got close. I've since moved them down 8 inches or so, and they are about 1.5-2 feet above the tops.
Prof Sublime - Yo dude, thanks. And about the trimming - I really wish I could get some help in there to trim, but the partner is just not having it. That's why we're going with the TrimPro. I really do appreciate the offer though

Yeah man, it's really the hard work like this that makes the shit really pay off. A room all at once is nice because for about 6-7 weeks, or even more, the shit is basically on auto pilot. The only real work comes when you gotta harvest it all. I'm counting on the TrimPro to help out with that though

I got over last night and got a few decent shots of the garden and the new irrigation setup.
I used hard plumbing to lead to the 1/2 flexible tubes this time:
Each of the 9 sections has a valve so that I have more control over what gets watered and what doesn't. Now I can do up to 9 different strains (if I had 9 different strains), whereas before, I could only do 3 because there were 3 irrigation sections.
The right side with 5 lights is at just under 3 weeks. The other side is just under 2. Coming along pretty well, I think.

FIP: I love the utter simplicity of the grow, yet how intricate it is at the same time. Very cleanly done and excellent use of space.
Since you've got the ability to run 9 strains now, I'd say it's always fun to diversify....but everything I see on your end is stylin' nonetheless. Killer action bro!

The partner wants to run 4 lights in his own basement and duct the heat from the lights into his house for heat this winter. That's a great thing. Now I have a place to grow for R&D type purposes, mainly working with those Pakistanis. I also have 2 Sour Bubble/Sour BubblexBasic Kush plants that look beautiful in veg that I'm gonna run soon too. Gonna be taking a bunch of clones today actually.
HeadyPete-Thanks for stopping by and I appreeciate the compliments. As far as humidity in the room/house and condensation in the attic, I'm not having any issues. The exhaust from the grow room is going into a bedroom above it. I installed an attic-type exhaust fan right into the ceiling-entrance to the attic. When the entire HOUSE would get too warm (73 degrees) the exhaust would pull warm air up there. But it hasn't even been getting above 68 in the house lately, so that fan hasn't kicked on. But I DID have a condensation issue elsewhere, read on for more details.

So the other day earlier this week, it had been near freezing outside for the first time this season both during the day and night. I was taking care of my plants and I noticed water dripping from above. I look up, and this is what I found:
The fans for my lights were running 24 hours a day and pulling air directly from the outside. So for 12 hours, the metal and glass of the hoods got freezing cold. Then the lights kick on and warm it all up. To rectify this, I put the fans for the hoods on the same thermostat for the room exhaust. All is good now. But look at what happened when I first turned the hood exhaust off, haha, pretty neat:
Don't worry, it's not smoke, just steam from the condensation evaporating.

Hey,a little side note: Sour Queen gets that funky smell from Killer Queen,which is Airborne's G13/NL Clone(AG13)x C99. One phenotype favored Sour D,with a more "sour candy" aroma,Very Pungent-the other favored KQ,which is more nutty and funky in nature,with a hint of C99's "pineapple" as a top-note.
Again,a really rockin' grow ya got-can't wait to see how the William's Wonder works out for you....My guess is you'll do about 45% better overall, weight-wise,and you'll be needing a 3rd Can-filter of the 4' variety.

yea i know man doin a whole room is a bit easier,like for me,when i water theres like 3-4 different stages of plants in there so different mixes are needed,but you can just let them roll on the same sollution the whole time...
our rooms are actualy almost the same size,i think you may have a foot or two on me though,i think i could make a watering system like urs and freak it the same way...gonna have to keep lookin into that drip system it seems so much easier then hand watering,do you let it constantly drip,or does it have a timer bro...sorry for droppin these questions yo,just was curious about it.

Hey what's going on everybody! I haven't posted in awhile, so I figured now's a great time.
Yesterday I went to Atlantic City and made $1000 in 6 minutes and drove back home. That's my best take yet.
Still not sure if I like ICMAG's new layout yet
accessndx - Hey dude, thanks. I try the best I can to stick to the basics and keeps everything simple - less things to get fucked up. When shit goes wrong in my garden, I seriously flip the fuck out. So I keep my chances of shit breaking or not working down by not having a bunch of fancy shit in there. Clean? HAHA, I guess you can't see the cigarette butts on the floor. And did you see the way that one timer is hanging in the back? It's safe, but ghetto as fuck nonetheless, LOL.

Tonatiuh - Hey man, I have no problems answering questions. Nothing's on a timer and it's not a constant drip. I have all that plumbing hooked up to a trashcan. I put whatever nutrient mix is needed for whichever 20 plant-section needs it and plug the pond pump in and let it drain completely. Since I added the valves for each section, I could do 9 different strains, all at different stages. I did this irrigation thing for two big reasons. 1 - once you have to care for 100 plants or more, moving them bitches around and hand watering them takes FOREVER, like these 180 would take easily 2 hours or more. Now it takes 20 minutes. And 2 - Every time you move and shuffle those plants, once they are close to maturity, you are knocking off precious trichomes. I've actually seen them fly off my plants. It looks as though my plants were all dusty. So, the less I move them, the more lovely they are when they go into my bong.
