Just re-potted 3 myself, not sure what exactly they are as I just mixed them all up in germing. Suprised one of the ones that germed made it as its taproot grew much faster than the rest and didn't wanna fit in the rapid rooter correctly.

Moving, I noticed you use Jiffy plugs, I picked some up in WallyWorld the other day but I just really wanted the container. How are they compared to rapid rooters?

Agreed, although the guy at the north austin location always gives me a ~10% discount. I only go there for hydroton and nutes and buy everything else online. What's this south congress place someone mentioned?

Well It looks like another heat wave on our way. Erestese..I use the Rooters for clones, and the peat pots for seeding..heck it's been 2 years since I popped seeds...I have had 1oo% so far on the seeds that I have popped except for 2 of Wallyduck's C99. casualtoker..I sent you a Pm on the other Hydro company. OK.... folks have a safe one.

shiggs...I think it really depends where are you willing to travel...Ie..Plant K, Texas Hydro,Brite Ideas....are you cloning or just poppin seeds?

Popping seeds for now. I'm pretty much willing to go anywhere. Driving is no issue for me. I've got some in germ now in my soil mix with crushed lava rock replacing the pearlite. I put seeds to soil 3 days ago, so there is still some time left.
Planet K on Research is the closest to me, so I guess ill head there.

side note: so far i have three sage cuttings with nice visible roots, just waiting till they get a little bigger then ill find a female. feels good

Simple and cheap Hydro set up

Howdy folks,
I was looking at all my grow gear and remembered the 8 inch square pots that I bought for a $1.50. So after a few minutes this what I came up with.....As soon as my sprouts get big enough we'll see how it works. This also could used as a cloning chamber....any other suggestions
Simple Hydro set up
8 inch Sq pot, 3 pack cake pan, (7.88 long, 7.88 wide, 1.88 deep), 1/4 rubber grommit, air stone, air pump with hose, tube of silicone cauking, coice of medium, nutes and plant.

8 Inch Sq pot

Form fit the cake pan, rolling the corners out helps

Place a 1/4 rubber gromitt in the smallest hole

install your air stone, plug or cauk the other holes

Cut out for your net cups.

These clips came with the cake pan

Take the clips, secure the top to the side

Attach air pump fill with H20

Thats an awesome use of spare pots. I just noticed that I have one little sprout poking its head above the soil, so i moved my tray inside under a couple of cfls to get constant light and warmth. Now I need to get the rest done so as to have a finished chamber to put them in.
