Cody Nehring is the name of the jerkwad that blew up the spot for thousands of humboldt growers. You can easily find him on some search websites so go ahead and let him know what you think of people who destroy newly renovated rental homes, then allow them to catch fire while storing 15 CASES of butane.

His incident was the one off Alliance by westwood market.... They had to hack into the "secure" house to get @ the fire...
That touched off what happened with the zoning and the moratorium on dispensarys, which sux cause a friend of mine just renovated the old bike library and signed a lease and has now been told NO... He can dispense there, but no on-premises growing.... for now, I havent talked to him ina bit tho, so i dont know where things are now...
Exactly the reasons why the rental market is so fucked up there.... I saw prolly 20 houses that had been "For Rent" for over 3 months, no one that applied was legit, they ALLL want to grow and the land lords would rather let them sit empty FURTHUR exacerbating the lack of housing in Humboldt!

Looking good, nice to see you back in this thread Are those 1000w digi ballasts? What brand? I've heard a lot of neg things about 'em but am getting sick of the buzzing under my room at night.

Why would a digi ballast catch on fire? Some are even submersible, they like pumps are filled with resin on the inside, it helps conduct heat for the fanless ones, and if oyu ever wanted to you can run your lights with your ballst in a bucket of water :/ I saw them demo it @ the grow store...
I have a few different brands from different projects/timing there all from the same factor in china....just depends who you got them through the come from Shangzou I believe...that what the big box said on it.
I have NOTHING bad to say about digi's, the first gen one's were a bit dodgy i remember, they had a decent handful of returns... And the bad press has followed them since..
Depending on bulb/ballast brand/age 1000's do from 110,000 to 140,000 lumens I believe.. 600's with the AgroMax bulb I like puts out 98,000 when it was brand new, i dunno bout now tho

yeah - well my friend down south was just tellin me something about the digi1000s catchin fires so he was obviously following the bad press bandwagon...but yeah anyways - what do you think about the 750s? more effecient than 1000 but more lumens than 600?

I have never in my life heard about a digi catching fire... only stopping working and being returned, but yah never know...

There's a lack of housing for "growers" who want to "blow up" rentals...
As you said H F, people cutting holes in to floors ceilings and walls running water like dumbasses and not protecting their spot are what kills the rental market for patients, no land lord will even allow a 400w in the closet for the dome let alone 4000w+ !!
Renting is for the birds anyway...

Res detail... Float valve, MAD bubbles, pump bypass
Actually 2 trashcan thingys, plumbed together to increase overall system capacity
The buckets return line go into the blue one in back, and the pump feeds out from the green one, lotsa bubbles in both!
I try to keep all electrical connections above the waterline, this way no drips [from splashes, bubble pop's accumulation, etc] dont follow down the hanging wires, also its above any accidental spills...
Dual outlet airpump for Res's sits on the crossmember and a huge NGW [chinese] linear air pump with manifold hanging from a shock/sound absorbing rubber strap, and the big water feed tube...
Return line from buckets [I am going to revise this part next run I think...]
And all the air lines obviously, The buckets are on cinderblocks to raise the overall water level in the system, nothing more, I would like to have more vertical space, but at the same time, makes me think "compact"....
8in net-pot sitting in 4gal food-grade bucket, with a 5in netpot transplanted into it well vegged...
Atmospheric controller, right up near the exhaust to sense ambient not radiant room temperature, gonna hook up the CO2 capability soon as we get the damn tank filled...
My own "clever invention" I hang these little reflective panels that I made from the celing, they are on hooks and come down real easy for access to plants, they are also height adjustable for canopy height, and they sway in the breeze of the fans that blow jsut above them [no reflective "zones" the reflected light is all wiggly over the canopy]
My landlord is a badmofo, he found this on a jobsite he was clearing out and brought it over to me, turns out its a 120v 100w MH interestingly tho its a self contained ballast, I like the flexibilty it allows so I set it sideways pointing at the side of that wicked unnamed sativa thats growing nuts!
This was it, JUST turned on [pointless, I know] I'll try again when its been on all night, this thign gets WICKED bright for only 100w... [it was really impressive in the house, well see what I think next to a buncha 600's]
