I agree 100%. I've been taking a break from all forums due to health reasons, but i decided to lurk in my favorite sativa threads today and I'm aggravated by what I've seen in this thread lately. I won't give excuses for Tom's behavior, which he received deserved short-term bans for, but I absolutely disagree with a perma-ban. I see very few old heads complaining about Tom. This thread is literally titled "Tom Hill Haze", if anyone is consistently offended by Tom, just avoid the thread. It would be sad for a lot of folks here to ban Tom before they can buy their seeds from his preservation run. Tom makes me mad sometimes too, but good grief people, grow some thicker skin and have some compassion for a fellow human being-you don't know his struggles.
If what TH posts bothers people that is what the ignore function is for. It never turns bad until someone engages Tom which just makes it worse.

Hmmmm, got be careful, and you may learn the hard way like I did.
This isn't a "we" thing either. To each his own.
I've done my share of psychedelics, you name it - great acid back in the 60's, field harvested peyote and shrooms and unless used judiciously, infrequently, (which I didn't) it can really screw you up. College went to hell for example until I backed off. I was a heavy weight regarding pot too, starting many a college day high. Take it from an old timer at 73 years old, this chronic high stuff doesn't work. Good friend of mine, older fellow, got the worse case of throat cancer you can imagine being a chronic pot (not cig) smoker all his life. Side effects of his chemo treatments was teeth and gum disintegration.
These days an ounce or 2 of homegrown will last me and my girlfriend a year. Some of that being cause it takes so little to get me "smooth".
Sure, there are many corporate health firms experimenting with psychedelic drugs for treatment of mental issues such as PTSD, depression, anxiety.....but it's still a pretty new field of study and the clinical treatments are done under the supervision of doctors. So people are supposed to show “compassion” for HIM but the way he gets off on shitting on anyone at will is OK ? I don’t read or watch this thread despite knowing it exists simply because he is a dick and I just avoid anything about him. HOWEVER after having to endure his childish shit slinging simply to read other forms is tiresome. I was pleased to read on another forum he got permanently banned here but it won’t last and I’m sure I’m not the only one who wonders who’s weak and lets him back. He and his small fandom group are mad but hey even Charlie Manson had groupies.

Honestly, it's bizarre. Tom doesn't act that way on other forums (and didn't on here for basically 20 years). He was even personal friends with Gypsy.
Out of nowhere, it's like all screws broke loose. There is clearly a part of the story we are not getting.
But at the same time, you can't expect to get into it with the Admin and Mods on a forum on multiple occasions and not get banned.
It also seemed like he was either intentionally trying to get himself banned repeatedly or displaying some sort of unconscious auto-destructive tendency.
Ultimately, it feels like the community as a whole is the loser here.
It feels especially bad if you had arranged a seed deal with Tom via PM. It seems like he is spiteful too. Haven't had any luck getting a response since he had come back in June and now it seems like we can pretty much forget about it.
Everybody give your seed allocation to @MadMac and give him a greenhouse too so he has proper space to work'em.

@thugpoet, Tom is a member of the other site (BB), not sure if it's allowed to be mentioned. I think someone said he's on IG as well so may be able to be contacted that way.
I honestly think he just pushed things too far here and was given plenty of chances. He has some great qualities and comes across well in podcasts, but here at least he just came to pick arguments. It was tedious to see in real time and mods have cleaned up a lot which some may have missed.
I'll stick with the hazes I have and other sativa varieties. Honestly, some of the individuals that are prominent in haze threads have nearly put me off haze.
