Hi there Star Crash
About this
My eyes are not that good I have glasses it’s hard for me to tell what the sex is when they’re very early ,have so many seeds to run through it’s not a problem at all… got a nice little crop of Haze growing right now plan to choose the true females & clone them :chin: It’s been pointed out to me that boys with pistils should be removed from the genetic pool, you don’t want them in the gene pool

I wear glasses as well. I have myopia
Do you wear glasses because of presbyopia or for other motives?
In my case, myopia has never been a real problem because I always wore contact lenses since I am a kid
But lately I got presbyopia and I cant read properly or look at tiny stuff anymore with my contact lenses or glasses on.
But I am discovering thanks to growing what always seemed to be a disadvantage it is turning into an advantage
Without glasses or contact lenses I have a very different focus and for tiny stuff vision from close is incredibly acute. It is kind of inverted focus from normal vision

The first tool I used was pictures and putting them on a bigger screen to see the plants. When I saw it works I bought the mobile I am using now because I never took pictures in my life and never cared for them and I had a cheap mobile phone with low quality picture.
Just one day I discovered by chance that looking without glasses or lenses on is the best for me when looking at plants. So since I have discovered this I am hardly using contact lenses anymore. But I do still project pictures because sometimes I find stuff I didnt see alive when looking at the plant

hi funky:wave:It’s been because of HPS lights for almost 25 years has definitely hurt my vision , I’m very careful about sunglasses in the grow room now especially because I’m going vertical bulbs again… I agree with what you say about using pictures to help identify what’s going on with the plants, that’s one of the reasons I post so much

Looks dank man, hows the shmell?

Either Or, doesn't matter just grow.
I knocked about 300 off my elec bill and increased my yield, in my circumstances.

Smells really good slightly sweet I’m crap @ describing smell though …I’m attracted to the electrical savings w/LED But so far they seem really expensive for the good ones I need a lot of coverage

The ones I use I believe are kingbrite imports.

A board costs $300 aussie semolians and achieve 1000 PAR over 60cm x 80cm or like 2ft x 2.5ft. I measured it myself.

240w, and the brightness lasts years I read. I've measured 1 year old 1000watt HPS lamps compared to new ones and the drop off is significant.

A good HPS lamp is $100 here. Things are much more expensive, the equipment, the elec, and its hotter, so the ac. And I have to use cooltubes. Its sucks.
