So, first grow here.
TL;DR: To make a long story short I'm in week 6 of flower, I got symptoms of either a nute deficiency or nute burn, and I dont know which way to go, since I'm at a critical time period of bud development
Vegged for a month. Fimmed once, LST's and supercropped about twice.
Coco with perlite, Canna Coco A+B, 2 liter pots. Mystery bag seed, I think the guy who sold it to me said it was Lemon Something. To be on the safe side i am assuming 9 weeks flower (either its sat or indica dom hybrid) (maybe someone recognizes the strain?)
PH of water/nutes is kept between 5 and 6, closer to the 6 side (got them drops to test). Temp 28 deg C humidity in the 40's. Got a fan blowing across the top canopy.
Now 3 days ago i noticed some leaves turning purplish/dark brown - these were bud leaves, so I flushed. But kept progressing, the purple/brown turned a bleached yellow, so i cut that. Looked like a Boron deficiency, but leaves are just plain yellow now, i cut most of the dead parts to prevent shading below
I also noticed that one of the calyxes on my plant has turned brown and crispy. Da fuq? Couldn't even google that (or take a pic my camera is liek 15 years old)
The fan leaves tips are yellowing/browning, the serrated edges are browning, plus some of the bud leaves are REALLY dark and green - meaning and overabundance of N, so here I think to myself - nute burn.
Theres spotting here and there, some of it like rust spots making me think it wants calcium. One leaf shows a magnesium deficiency.
But looking lower on the plant seems like all the leaves below the top canopy are much brighter, drooping, some of them fall off when touched. So...seems the plant is using its mobile nutrients here to supplement, so makes me think - deficiency. No too worried about these though, cause i heard this is normal - they're not getting much light.
Gotta say that the trichomes started to show about a week ago, but have stalled the past 3 days. Bud growth seems stalled as well. Too early to start flushing IMO.
So whats the best damage control strategy here?
Less nutes - could be ok or stunt growth
Same nutes - could be ok or kill the plant or stunt the growth
More nutes - Seems like overkill, i'm at max dosage, so I'd say definately not.
Like I said its my first grow, so I'm learning a lot here, but also stressing.
