I don't know if it's ever helped me 'get ahead', but it's been fun. It can be really tiring trying to keep up with new music, separating the talent from the hype, but in the end very rewarding.

Its really hard to say whats my favorite band. I'd almost just like to say my favorite genre of music is classic rock. That would make my life easy.
