Well variety is key :)
kush tents to be a quicker shorter plant that delivers tight buds that a lot of us love to smoke.. it has that addictive taste in there kind of like diesel... you just want more!

Ever since i got the fire cut, with all the strains i have (purple kush, trainwreck, headband, uk cheese, greencrack, ect,,)

i ALWAYS reach for the OGK FIRE jar first

but for the most part it is just a name to slap on a strain for marketing value...

if you try some good OGK (FIRE, tahoe,SFV) youll understand the "hype"

If we're talking about the various kush cuts that get passed around (clone-onlys/whatever people call em/yadayada), the big deal is that it's simply some fantastic herb. Smells top notch, tastes top notch, and gets you all sorts of high. Maybe not everyone's favorite type of smoke, but fantastic nonetheless...

There are some good kush plants but there are really good plants that are not kush. the beauty is trying everything and making your own jugdement.

Most of it is just a name. Most "kush's" arent even real kush's.

I was thinking the same thing. I think a lot people in certain parts of the country (i.e. California) call a lot of weed kush. It is just like when we use to call all bud skunk back in the day.

once you smoke OG kush you will know...the taste alone is what brings you back

and the price is high because the yeild is typically low. alot of people cross kush with heavy yeilding strains but it just aint the same.

I have sampled one or two OG kushes. Neither grew like a typical Kush region plant and only one was better then par. I wonder how much if any Kush is present in the genetic make up.
