What strains are the most LEMON tasting and smelling? Just pure lemon!

I have gone through a couple different bags each of dispensary SLH and Jack the Ripper. IMHO, I have found JtR to be more lemony and to have a clearer, less stoney high than SLH.

I know that Subcool says JtR is some tweaky weed with paranoia and a heavy crash, but that's not my experience at all. Personally, I have only found paranoia in strong sativas and both JtR and SLH are not very sativa.

Kali Mist has some lemon "tint" to it that I only notice on the inhale after a long cure. Its smell is more incense/floral overall. Kali Mist has plenty of sativa paranoia in it, but I am usually too busy blasting off on the uplift to notice/care.

The point I am trying to make is that certain "negative" pot traits are very, very subjective. I have decided that reports of paranoia-type vibes are more of an indicator that it is simply low in stony indica vibe (what I am looking for).

As for the lemon chase, I am more interested in a lemon that isn't so much like lemonhead candy or lemon pledge. If I could pull just the lemon terps out in Kali Mist, it would be more like the zest of a lemon.

Most lemon smelling and tasting herb I've tried was a plant of Nirvana's New York Power Diesel feminized seeds. Fairly strong, hybrid but energetic high, no paranoia. Tried it at 1 month cure and 6 months cure and the second try was way better in effect.

I just finished 2 different Heavy Duty Fruity Plants, both smell and taste lemon which is not what I was thinking it would be like.

When I was giving them the chop had a mate come around and he thought I was doing some housework with a lemon smelling cleaner when he got to the door.

I know the breeder isn't popular here, but the right pheno of Jack the Ripper smells like a bottle of lemon pledge and tastes like lemon head candies. Killer heady buzz and surprisingly, a very effective pain killer too. Gotta keep her pampered though or she'll throw nanners past day 50-ish.

The most lemon smell and taste will come from a VERY special Skunk #1!! I am growing SLH and it honestly does not compare to my #1 lemon mom!!! I will make this short..I was doin a custom paint job for an old timer on his old car. he stops by the garage and says'' oohhh fellow toker huh???At first I was like uuuuuummmmmmmm. OK well yeah I smoked a joint a bit ago . This is a solid old dude btw. He starts talkin about the NEW weed and how it really does not compare to the 70s early 80s stuff. Now my younger than his ole ass is thinkin really old timer new weed is the shit!! I was given some buds that were really lemony and delicious with a great uplifting grinning party high. I broke out some dubes of it at a party and pretty soon everyone had a huge grin and was really energetic. Everyone constantly remarked on how delicious it smelled and tasted.

Unfortunately the guy who gave it to me couldn't care less about what is what and had no idea what it was other than "God something".

I think I've just recently tracked it down to strain called "God's lemon skunk" which is a cross of lemon skunk and God Bud.


I've smoked lemony buds before in the past and they are always some of my favorite highs.

I'm starting to get to where I don't really care for weed at all unless it's got a very strong smell.

There are a lot of almost smelless buds out there, probably grown for that precise reason or maybe just so mongrelly cross bred that any one distinctive flavor or odor is gone.

I think it would be a great project to determine a "reference library" of weed by terpene. In other words a top 3 list of lemony ones, top 3 grapefruity ones, top 3 grape ones etc etc.

I smoked this stuff like 9 years ago that was called Lemon ice down in So Cal.. To this day it was the purest smelling/tasting lemon bud I have ever had.. I have never seen or heard of it since.

The most lemony I've ever had was Super Haze. Synthetic lemon cleaner like smell, very strong - good sniff from the buds and it felt like your nasal cavities were coated with waxy layer of lemony goodness. Very dank too, racy real haze buzz that made me super paranoid, lol. Didn't grow it myself, and while I'm a bit tempted to, I don't know how consistent the aroma and overall quality is - and knowing it's DP strain, don't think very.
