The JTR has shot a pistil and is now a confirmed female.
I get some yellowing on the lower leaves, I've plucked around 4 leaves off each plant to date, some got covered in soil or so and had to be removed anyway.
I take it as part of the plant starting to flower but I can't say I like it.
If it continues for another week I will give them an AACT dose with EWC, sugar, seaweed extract and Mexican bat guano (high N).
As of now I really like this organic thing - I got the best roots I ever had and this is my major indicator of plant health.
Big D, That makes a lot of sense. However, no bigger pot at hand- they will manage.
I got the C#9 bent down and tied as it grew way too big. I plan on supercroping (pinching) it to lower it down without the excess lines all over the place.
I got some work done in the closet. Now I have much less space (and I should move the light a bit to the right) but much much better light proofing, smell proofing and ventilation.
Got a new 450m^3\h centrifugal vent that sucks air really good. Rigged it with a 500m^3\h carbon filter and somehow stuck it all together.
Here are the plants:
Jack The Ripper:
Ice Kush:
Sweet Deep Grapefruit:
Blue Mystic:
Cloud #9:
Got some light bleaching on the SDG top, nothing major and I put the light away a bit.
The Blue Mystic is going pretty slow, slower than I'm used to.
The C#9 is stretching like hell. I hope it would somehow fill out.
And to finish the day I turned this : (Great White Shark by GHS, Organically grown, over 6 months of curing)
Into this:

Damn this was so smooth its unbelievable. Awesome taste, very potent, GREAT muscle relaxation. The high is very interesting as well - everything starts moving by the power of your mind.
you got to get some pots bro! some of those plants are not going to grow because the bigger plants are not going to let them.... survival of the fittest!
No space for a bigger pot, this one barely snugs in.
I'll take care of that with my next batch.
The C#9 is the main one to show problems - the bottom 1\4 is yellow already.
But really, I can't fit anything else inside.
I thought around 4L each plant when going 12\12 from seed would do. (And I thought I would get one male in the bunch so I would have more space)
Well, things are going fine.
The only big issue is the pot size.
I'll take measurements of my available space and use it in a much wiser manner next time.
The plants are still stretching and the SDG looks AWESOME for a SOG style grow. One MASSIVE cola is forming.
I'll take some clones soon, when I see if my current run goes with all of my lazy mistakes.
Made a good SLIGHTLY bacterial dominated (unlike the previous ones which were more than slightly bacterial dominated) with lots of goodies - fresh EWC, store-bought EWC, Cow manure compost, sugar, molasses, homemade seaweed extract, high N guano and some more stuff. Foamed very nicely.
I gave them a foliar feeding 20 minutes before sunshine with AACT diluted 1:5
I also gave them today and yesterday a soil drench.
Also added a ~2" layer of coco fibers on top of the pot as a mulch.
man you should try to get some of those fan leafs out of the way from making shade into other buds, clip them if you have to, it looks like the ice kush could benefit from that, and some bending would be nice to get more light into the smaller ones, next time doing a one container grow, you should put the smaller ones(most indica dominant) in the middle and the bigger ones on the edges, this way you wont get that crazy canopy, good luck bro!!
cheers
I didn't know which would turn huge when planting them.
I want to let Darwinism do its thing and keep the best plant, I don't intend to run multi-strain in a single pot for long.
I will probably put a SCROG on pretty soon to take care of the canopy shape, but its really not that bad as the picture make it look like.
I never liked the removal of fan leaves, don't know why.
I should try that once.
Jack The Ripper is growing well, but still behind the others. I haven't pulled her out of her pot and she doesn't seem to care. Last time her roots were going out of the drainage holes and I believe she would be fine until harvest in her place.
Buds haven't formed yet, but she seems to go strong
The Ice Kush is starting to throw pistils and just a tad behind the JTR.
It is behind the other plants and is partially shaded.
The Sweet Deep Grapefruit is monstrous. She keeps stretching, yet filling out very quickly. Buds are already taking shape.
She got very few side branches and is very healthy.
She is in the middle of the pot, right below the light and as she stretched up too much I LSTed her today with a sewing thread (nothing else in hand, I will remove it as she stops stretching) with some things for weight on the other end.
She got some light bleach a few days ago - these are not bananas. I've checked. Twice.
The Blue Mystic isn't performing too well, yet she is healthy and pretty happy. After taking the pictures I've pinched and supercropped her at the level of the canopy. nothing major - she should recover in 2-3 days, which should let lower branches grow a bit.
She is slower than I want her to be.
The Cloud #9 is stretching like hell. I doubt it will turn out to be a keeper. Nodes gaps are very high, even with over-intensive light. (when she got too close to the light)
I don't believe she would fill up too well, and thats with 12\12 from seed.
I HOPE she will produce ping pong ball kind of buds all over the place.
I have 4 clones from her (and one from SDG), all aren't looking too good, yet not too bad. I intend to run at least one clone from her and if the smoke really worth it I'll clone the clone.
I've supercropped a few of her branches as well after taking the pictures. I've trained some branches as well and already took off the string as they grew the way I wanted them to.
Buds are forming quite nicely, where they do form.
She seems to be pretty quick flowering.
With the new vent I got a reading of 24.5°C low and 30.8°C high, which is pretty nice for the season.
Humidity is 40-65%. For this stage its ideal, but I don't have a clue how I would make it lower in a month from now.
Today was 31.8°C at peak and 20.1°C at the lowest. I run my lights at night.
I like this coco mulch a lot. Seems way more... proper.
I got a measure and the biggest rectangular pot I can fit in is 82X34cm
I got some space on the edges that I would probably fill with smaller pots later on.
I've decided to run my 600W light mainly on my lower cab as it has MUCH more space for the pots (100x56cm), although I would have to use the light hanging in an horizontal setting and losing some light.
Well, I'll see how it goes when temps will drop a bit and getting the other light on would become relevant.
I was also thinking about removing some leaves to let more light penetrate the lower parts. It makes sense but I just don't like plucking away healthy leaves.
Decided to do so when the stretching stops and I'll know where each plant stays for the next month and a half - 2 months.
I got the light 4" to the right and got a screen on.
Started SCROGing the grow but I don't plan on filling the screen. I just started having problems accessing all the plants for training.
I also plucked quite a few of fan leaves. The plants seem healthy enough to take it.
The main plant to benefit from the screening is the Cloud #9.
The output duct from the cooltube was half teared out and the light wasn't cooling as it should - got that fixed too.
I should do the ducting job between the 2 closet chambers and start my other chamber - its getting cooler.
I'll wait a week and see how temps go. I really don't want to start too early and lose my pricey seeds.
All plants are stretching.
The JTR is starting to go full power and looks a lot like the SDG.
The SDG is stretching a bit and filling VERY nicely.
The C#9 is forming buds really nicely for its very large internodes.
The Blue Mystic isn't doing much. Same goes for the Ice Kush.
And pictures:
Jack The Ripper:
Ice Kush:
Sweet Deep Grapefruit:
Cloud #9:
(no Blue Mystic alone picture this time)
I had 5-6 leaves like this one plucked, and quite a few others below:
I'll leave the dome on for a week or so until they catch up:
They are in a 10L or so pot:
I got pretty much the same mix but with less compost as I ran out. I will top up with worm castings and manure compost and mulch with coco after the plants will throw some roots and lose the dome.
This mix doesn't have high N guano, only high P guano.
Looking good Fonzee.
You have a great setup going there. Once you get the details worked out from the first grow, that will make a nice production unit.
I got pretty darn sick this past 2 days so couldn't use my free days for tweaking.
I hope I'll get some time this week or next week to get the other cabin working. Light proofing would be one hell of a bitch but all the venting is pretty much set.
3\4 clones rooted, one needs another day or two to form longer roots.
All were from the C#9. They were neglected.
Another 5 clones were taken. One is an experiment with water cloning.
Its a JTR cut in a film box filled with nothing but mineral water and the lid poked to fit the cutting. The cut is in the water just hanging.
This is how my box looks like. Its under a 18W\ 6500K CFL.
I've lowered the screen quite a bit and now it looks much better:
Left:
Right:
Plants are coming along nicely. The ice kush started going quick, the JTR is budding really well, the SDG is filling out VERY quickly and got some resin buildup.
The C#9 is forming nice buds for its lankiness.
The Blue Mystic is behind but going straight.
Got another Cloud #9 clone in the system. 2 or 3 liter pot.
It has layers of used soil that got completely dry, compost and top layer of humus.
All ingredients were bone dry, I will use an AACT later on to activate stuff.
Its in the corner for now to toughen up for a week then it will be put over the main pot and under the screen.
I got coco mulch over it.
The previous clones:
The current C#9 clone:
Jack The Ripper:
Bud shot:
Ice Kush:
Sweet Deep Grapefruit:
Bud shot:
Another bud shot:
Blue Mystic:

Seems like I'll have some work trimming this bitch.
I hope the C#9 will fatten up well, if so it can be a great SCROG plant.
The SDG looks like a keeper, its my favorite for now. Looks awesome.
The JTR is pretty similar to the SDG, just started flowering later.
The IK seems like it will produce some buds after all.
The BM doesn't look like a keeper at all.
I need to get the bottom part ready and pop some more seeds tomorrow so stay tuned
The Ice Kush cut rooted and bin put in the system.
Its in a 1L pot filled with a thin layer of coco at the bottom, 650ml of manure compost 150ml of potting soil on top of the compost and a layer of coco for mulching.
As of last night most seeds popped but haven't surfaced yet. I might have put them a little too deep. I don't think it should be a problem.
In any case I got the 400W light ready in the cooltube.
