Gave the 12\12 chamber 5L of water with a teaspoon of dissolved molasses.
I need to get more molasses.

SDG nugshot:
attachment.php

I THINK its a JTR nug. might be SDG too:
attachment.php

This is how far the C#9 clones gone:
attachment.php

Those clones will take over the SDG place in 2-3 weeks when she's gone and fill the space EASILY.

I got a gift from the clumsiness fairy - 2 tiny SDG premature buds.
They should be smokable.
one was pretty dry and one was fresh. total they should weight around 0.25g wet. around 0.07 dry i'd guess.
That should do for a tiny sample.

The IK fills up nicely and smells DELICIOUS. she, the JTR and the SDG smell a lot like lemons.
The IK is more candy lemon and a bit sout, the JTR is more earthy lemon and some gasoline and the SDG is like Fez candies with citrus - lemon in it.

The blue mystic look like crap. I'm glad I don't have clones.

the veg. part got AACT soil drench and foliar feeding.
3 of the plants in water bottles moved to a gallon plastic pot.
The JTRs that didn't do well in the plastic cups were moved to ~1L pots with the medium mentioned before.

They look like crap.

Beside those all the plants are healthy as hell.

I should move to 12\12 soon but I want my SDG clone to throw a clone-able shoot so I could preserve her genetics. That thing is awesome so far!

I got my microscope fixed and working so here is the trichomes readout.
The numbers are the percentage of clear \ milky \ amber.

Jack the Ripper 10/87/3
Ice Kush ? ? ? (couldn't get in there, but it has some time)
Sweet Deep Grapefruit 0/85/15
Blue Mystic 30/70/0
Cloud #9 10/90/0

The SDG got a week or so left, the JTR and C9 should finish in 3 weeks and I don't know about the rest.

I got the Ice Kush clone down to the veg closet to veg some more, she needed it.

I took clones from my JTR clone and from my flowering C9 clones.
Trying some very cheap methods and I hope some will catch.

Smells for now: (the number on the end of each line is how strong the odor is)
JTR - Lemon zest, sterilizing spray, a bit of dirt and some oranges. 7
Ice Kush - Lemons. Lots of them. 7.5
SDG - Premature oranges covered with sugar with brandy. 8.5
Cloud #9 - Strong citrus smell with some black coffee undertones. 8
Blue Mystic - like grass. 2

As for trichome buildup - the JTR got crusty and the trichs are much bigger than the others.
The SDG is building up normally and doesn't lack a bit.
The Cloud #9 is a bit less caked compared to the JTR but still a LOT of them.
The blue mystic is far behind and the Ice Kush is trying but nothing to brag about.

As for water consumption, the big pot require 3L each 3 days and the smaller one can hold 4L and needs it every 4-5 days.
I gave two small doses of molasses to the big pot during the last week. I'll give them straight water for a week and then 2 doses of natural sugar.

The vegging plants are starting to pop preflowers, in a week or two it should be visible.
I got some repotted and some on another pot filled with soil.
They all look happy, except for the SDG which struggles but seems to get along. In a week it should be clone-able.

And of course - nugshots!

Gave the C#9 clones some BioBizz ferts for the kick of it. I doubt I'll do it again.
They got 1ml per liter of the following - BioGrow, BioBloom, BioHeaven, Root juice.

And just some pictures.

nice rootjuice is the mutts nuts always had great results with it until 1 day after a blunt kicked over open bottle while tending to plants went everywhere lol so now got half bottle left and some shelving soon after that, just glad wasnt fishmix
whats your opinion on bioheaven heard mixed reviews

BioHeaven barely does anything. I think it costs WAY over its value.
It gives a minor micro-nutes supplementation and helps to relief stress but I rather use seaweed extract like Alg-A-Mic that costs a friction only when it is needed.

Root Juice is nice but so far I had GREAT results without any additives except AACT.
I use seaplants extract for a vitality boost for veg sometimes.

I got a whole shelf of nutes from previous runs and I just hate to see it go stale.

My Alg-A-Mic went stale pretty quick. Its a shame - it was my favorite BioBizz product. GREAT as a foliar feed.

The TGA gear gets out of hand. The light was set as high as possible already.

They are starting to show sex. When they do I'll cut the branches and the tops of the males, repot them to 1L pots and give the ladies more root space.

No deficiency to pop yet, except one leaf on one JB that shown P toxicity and the JTRs were N deficient but they recover well.

I got big hopes for those genetics after seeing how damn frosty by JTR grown.
Its crazy!

I hope I'll get a male from the new JTRs...

I gave the veg plant a light (1ml\L) dose of BioBizz BioGrow and the bottle is now finished. Finally.

I want to run a sidekick plant with chemical ferts along the main grow. That should be interesting.
And I already got everything I'll possibly need for flowering.
I'll get the first rooted clone as the victim.

The Cloud#9 clones are going crazy - they grow FAST!
The smell is also very nice and they frost up nicely.

The Ice Kush starts to pack weight and doesn't lack icing as well, but its a VERY slow vegger and I doubt I'll keep it in the grow. (Unless the smoke would be much better than the rest)

I estimate the SDG will be down in a week. She popped a lot of secondary flowering that fills up great.

Jilly Bean #8 and #9 were starting to show what I believe is balls and been put to flowering to verify their sex.

3 Other JBs are suspected females, but none have popped hairs or balls yet.

The SDG started a secondary flowering phase so it might take a few more weeks. Trichomes on the main nug are 20% clear, 70% milky and 10% amber.
The bottom nugs are almost ripe.
I might take off the bottom ones first, although I'd like to cut it as one piece.

Here's a JTR bottom nug. The camera doesn't show its frostiness well and the pictures with the flash looks UGLY.

The nugs on the SDG look great and the description of its smell is appealing. It sure is putting in the effort with its continued flowering. She is a giver! Hope she smokes good soon!

Thanks :)
I love her very short flowering time, but the high wasn't really my thing, from the sample.

I'll let her finish up with dignity and run a proper test to see if she'll stay in the system.

As I'm only looking for one keeper the bar is set very high.

The veg tent looks awesome but the plants need a repot!
Most of the JBs shown their sex. I'm sure about the females but most males I'm not sure of.

JB 1 - Dead.
JB 2 - Haven't grown enough
JB 3 - Female.
JB 4 - Female.
JB 5 - Haven't grown enough.
JB 6 - Haven't grown enough.
JB 7 - Male.
JB 8 - Male.
JB 9 - Male.
JB 10 - Female.

If I'm right, I got a 50\50 ratio. Which is awesome considering I'm looking for a stud too.

3D #1 grew nicely and looks to be a female, but no hairs yet. Should pop some (or not) in 2-3 days.
3D #2 is far too small yet.
I really want a 3D female in my grow~ (I'd love a male too, but I would like a female better)

JTR #2 and #3 were runts and although catching up they have a while before they should show their sex.

The JB have the thickest leaves ~

I'll put the one I suspect to be a male in the 12\12 room to speed up the verification process.
I'm lacking space and decanning the males should solve this issue.

Jilly Bean #8 and #9 were confirmed males and been trimmed down to one branch and depotted to 0.5L pots.
They are staying in the flowering room.

Things are getting frosty~!

The SDG is getting behind: (although not shabby at all)
attachment.php

The Jack the Ripper is getting covered with trichomes in an amazing rate. This thing is SUGAR COATED!!
Looking at it with the microscope the trichomes are 5 times denser than the SDG!

The Cloud #9 is getting frosty as well. More than the SDG but less than the JTR.

Cheers, fonz.

Logistic update;

JB 7 is a male. I gave it the same treatment JB 8 and 9 got.
JB 3 and JB 4 got to a 7L pot each.
JTR #3 looks to be a female and since the 3rd node she sprouted 3 leaflets each node. YAY! MY FIRST TRIFOLIATE!
She's ain't that strong but I hope she'll get better soon~

All the veg plants got a foliar feed of 2ml\L sea-plants FPE and I got my big fan (industrial one) on them for an hour or so to dry out, thicken the stems a bit and hopefully reducing the tobacco aphid population that seemed to grow lately.
I need to hang another sticky trap too.

This is the sex chart for now:

JB 1 - Dead.
JB 2 - Haven't grown enough
JB 3 - Female.
JB 4 - Female.
JB 5 - Probably a Male
JB 6 - Probably a Female
JB 7 - Male.
JB 8 - Male.
JB 9 - Male.
JB 10 - Female.

JTR 2 - Haven't grown enough
JTR 3 - Probably a Female. Trifoliate.

3D 1 - Haven't grown enough
3D 2 - Female.

Looks like 6 females to 4 males for now. Thats nice :)

As it seems I'll start the 12\12 cycle on the TGA gear in around 2 weeks.
All plants should show sex by then and the canopy should be dense enough for a nice SCROG.

Also, in 2-3 weeks the 12\12 from seed grow should get chopped.

Veg is going very well. I'll change the light to a 600W (swap with the 12\12 cab) in a week to help them toughen up to the stretching period.

sex chart for now:

JB 1 - Dead.
JB 2 - Male.
JB 3 - Female.
JB 4 - Female.
JB 5 - Male (almost sure, will repot in 2-3 days once certain)
JB 6 - Probably a Female
JB 7 - Male.
JB 8 - Male.
JB 9 - Male.
JB 10 - Female.

JTR 2 - Haven't grown enough
JTR 3 - Probably a Female. Trifoliate.

3D 1 - Male
3D 2 - Female.

By next week I should know all of the plants sex, except the JTRs that might take a bit more time.

As for the 12\12 cab:
Everything looks good. There's a LOT of yellowing, something i've learnt for next time - use a bigger pot.
Things look pretty similar each day, except the C9 clones that fill up nicely.
Another thing I hope to achieve on my next flowering cycle is to fill the screen much better. Its far from as dense as I want it to.

Sorry for the blurry pictures, was in a hurry:

attachment.php

left side
attachment.php

middle (really blurry)
attachment.php

right side (the SDG main cola is bent behind to get less light. she don't need that much light any more)
attachment.php

On a side note - I'm running out of papers. I bought my last pack a year ago.
I was always cheap on papers (last pack was some pure hemp bullshit for less than a buck) but this time I think I'll go back to Rizzla.

Cheers, Fonz.
