Why bother. There's already testing done by those with the right equipment. Im just gonna go with you dont believe the tests done.

Well that would just be wrong.
I suggest the tests are not done under real world circumstances.

I have a lifetime of experience using every form of PPE for the breathing area.

I know first hand how the masks react when used for a long shift.

Put a rubber seal around that fucker and squeeze it tight to your face like there is a toxic substance in the air.
No beard allowed.

Let it get soaked from your breath.

I will bet you will not be able to walk down the street and breathe properly.
Keep it sealed tightly no cheating.
That is another thing.....

How does facial hair fit into the equation?
I know but you will not believe me, so I will leave it there.:gday:

Did ya try the baby powder experiment?
Sit side by side with someone next to ya.
I bet they get powder on them.

The sneeze will push air out the sides of the mask.
Will the virus too escape out the sides.
I see no reason to think it would not.

Yes, the mask helps, but it is a false sense of security.

Why were we told we did not need a mask even in the war zones?

Why all the lies?

I have a better experiment for you to try.
Take a nice big swig of your favorite beverage, and keep it in your mouth. Put on a mask and sneeze and watch where it goes. Now try the same thing without a mask and watch where it goes.
The reason why this experiment is more applicable is because covid19 catches a ride on water molecules inside of your lungs. Without the H2O, covid19 (relatively)quickly “dies”. Masks are very effective with droplet precautions, which is why hospitals have always required sick visitors to wear a make(if they allow sick visitors at all).

I understand the concept very well, thanks.

As I have said several times now.
I will say it again, I hope yall get it this time.

Yes, the mask will probably work.

If you are so sure about your stance here.....
Send some sick folks over to your grannys house to test your theory out.

The masks are like a bullet proof vest that will probably work.
.
Test your theory out on your loved ones.
Not mine
Me I know the risk.

I was a 1st responder for any chemical or fires broke out at Intel. I had thousands of hrs in training wit hall types of hazmat suits with scuba. You gotta be a dumb ass MF to think no mask is the same as wearing one.

@Shaggy- All we have is stay at home, social distance and wear a mask. That was true in 1918, and it is true today. None of these are panaceas, but that’s all we have.

No you are in correct to say it works.

Well it works the way a chunk of wood works to stop bullets.
Is it the proper PPE, no it is not.
Therefore we must conclude it does not work properly.

Well if I was asked we are arguing because you think I do not wear a mask in public.

If you took the time to read the posts I have made....
I think I have said about 20 times I do wear my mask in public.

Even when the news said I should not.
Have you worn a mask since day 1?

I am giving out good info here to folks that say ahh fuck you.

I guess let em go kill granny thinking they are protected.

Go ahead have at it, I am just trying to get the info out.

I ain't pushin my beliefs on others.
I feel that is the wrong attitude to have.:tiphat:

Oh, we could have stopped the planes.....and not needed any of that.

Why did we not stop the planes again?

I can’t answer why we didn’t stop ALL air traffic coming into the United States, but i suspect that would have been extremely difficult.

PS. I agree on what you said about education. Education is/was sadly lacking, both before and during.

2-3 week quarantine if you want in pretty simple.

Would it not have been easier than what we are enduring today?

Did ya see my post where the guy got the nobel peace prize for the PCR test.

He said the PCR test should never be used to diagnose a disease.
So may be a good time to start thinking for yourself.

It would indeed, Shaggy - we failed to act in a serious manner to prevent it, right from the very beginning - and to all appearances it was deliberate policy to fail in this way.

Even if Trump’s tenure in office had been otherwise FLAWLESS, *this* would be enough to demand a reckoning from the regime and from the Senate’s enabling of the regime.

Can we blame trump?
Should not the hero gates have warned us well in advance.
He just finished a billion dollar simulation did he not?

Who actually would make that call?
I wonder what they were thinking?

BTW
Like you I feel it was deliberate.
I guess they can play the I did not know card.
If you were too stupid to see it coming then you are fired, ed of story there.
WTF are we paying you to do?
If you are not doing it,,,,then why are we still paying you.

This is not Lions football...LOL
