They are SOOOO ready to go.

All my plumbing parts are still on their way
"according to our records, we did NOT send that out"
The substrate has been on delay too

But when it all gets here
It's starting with 6-5gallon buckets around a 600 HPS
a controller bucket and a reservoir
And 2 pumps

looks nice! hope will see this set-up in action.

Good luck with your outdoor, they look great, sure you'll have a nice harvest, but maybe they will need more root space!

Hooked up the fuzzy logic tonight
Ran independent power circuts to the room
I NEVER trust home wiring :noway:

The ducting for the AC exhaust needs some serious tightening up.
The air is Really F'n HOT
I may double insulate

Some music playing during the "day light"
and Moving the OD hempy buckets inside with these all tomorrow

Are you using sure to grow? if so how do you like it?

Good eye...
It's has some cool properties
It holds alot of moisture though
good for some aplications, but I dont think the buckets are releasing enough water. like growing in a bucket of rockwool. Hence the yellow tips??
Ill give it some time
I have a clone chamber with the 1.5 cubes in it.
I have a hydro vegie garden project im workin on im going to try the slabs and some other STG with it
We'll see......

R u using it?

No I'm not using it, but i was interested because I have a coliseum filled with perlite and coco. Was interested in filling up my coli with it cause its a lot lighter.

Ya know, i went in last night and it was a problem with my ec- .6
so I kept it at 4 waterings per light cycle
and pumped it up with AN's sensi grow
Should green up by tonight

But pulling the clones out of the cubes
they look drowned in the stem area,
when it gets really mushy and the stems srtip
The cubes were soaked 9 days ago and still are saturated

So, maybe the opposite of what i thought
the clone cubes may stay too wet
the bulk drains nice

BTW
the buckets are filled with STG 6"in slab, tore up to fit around the root mass and filled with the STG loose fill
They dont have a 5gal insert yet

It is lighter, DRY
but its very similar to coco

Seems to me it would be heavier overall because of its water retention

Perlite is super light, even saturated
and coco, drains really well

I may do a weigh in the beginning saturate both, measure the amount of up take as well as retained weight.

Ill pm ya the results
cuz im really interested in the stuff

Ill say im still on the favorable side of it
