The loose fill STG has "pulled" the plant down into the bucket from its own weight, it looks about 1 gal full instead of three.
An insert may work better because of its structure
Got rid of the yellowing
Uped the ec
and improved the drainage timer sequence

looks good man. they all look healthy and green. those little ac's shit out a ton of heat. i wonder if a small inline fan sucking the hot air out would help???

I had thought about that because it is obscenely hot air
I have to temp it later just to know...

Inline fan are just boosters
and it pushes itself faster then that would boost
its ok

Id go central air unit next design
theyre pretty cheap with the economy suckin and all
Id need to install it portable though.........

Even a window unit seems better at this point, its already hot here and everyone runs them all day anyways

I could probably sell that unit, its brand new
i got it for a super deal
could just turn that cash over to a window unit
:D

very unique way to grow. I'm impressed I hope you yield some solid poundage! Looks awesome. How are each chamber cooled? oh, and what wattage is used, just in case i missed it. Thanks

I'd say definitely look into selling/trading it for a high quality window unit.

IF you can't do that, try straightening out the exhaust ducting as much as possible. The inline fan would help as well. Any heat that doesn't get sucked out immediately is radiated into the room. :(

No way to put that in another room and just vent the A/C into the grow room? :D

Damn thing just leaks hot air
its not a seal from the port to its own tube
the insulation is hot
its probably like a useless 1k bulb
burning dark light

Now that u mention it, I can in another aplication in my shed
I was going to build a sub wall in the room just for this reason but thats not as easy as driving to Costco
Or checking craigslist
Should be in by tonight

I was going to run it in a different area but its a remote control digital unit
would have to rework the thermostat
etc

Id like to just put it outside

vent the cool inside

Frick!!!
Ill go shopping

One big sealed bedroom
no ventillation
portable ac (soon to be window)
stays at whatever temp I set it
78 right now
and just circulation fans
the AC unit has a built in oscillating fan too

each bulb is a 600

There wont be any serious weight
but it will be self sufficient at the least

sweet deal, I have always been interested in vertical 600s as I have 4 that id love to vert myself , but im not sure a 5000 btu window a/c will be sufficient.

why did you go fromportable ac to window besides windows being better in every way I just figured if you were using a portable and it was working, why go to a window? Im about to get a portable, but would like some more insight on them. great setup. peace and smoke.

The new ac works so much better that it hardly runs

BUT

now the humidity is building up
so I had to plug in a dehumidifier
