jnugg how could you assume im a noob.im definately not on my first grow.I have pics from years of successful grows.Get off his nuts
But a strict bare bulb doesn't make much sense logically.
No way a bare bulb can compare heat wise to an air cooled reflector. In a small tent the walls of the tent are youre reflector.Move your setup to a 12x12 room and the inefficiency of a bare bulb will show.Every light source ever invented includes a reflector for good reason.
In smaller spaces bare bulbs work because the walls bounce the light back.I would be more inclined to purchase an air cooled vertizontal reflector.
but why would he benefit? in vert set ups u want the plants vegging round the bare bulb as theyl be flowered that way, train it for max side canopy spread to soak up all those lumens
good luck.what type of carbon filter is that?if it is too small it will be a big pain to install a bigger one in the middle of flower with the tent loaded with plants.
It's an ipower carbon filter. It fits perfectly on my 6" exhaust fan . Why would it be too small?
Btw crane, the only next to quote is quick reply and multiquote.
Wondering if I should move this thread to the indoor grow journals
