I like vacuum packed bags better than glass because when I hold a pack, it feels like a nice pack of contraband rather than a jar of ragu...

If getting rid of O2 is the goal then get some O2 absorbing packets. It is raw iron that sucks up the O2 to form rust.

I use pickle jars and freeze them.

Anyone using Grove bags or drangonchewer storage bags?
Dragon does 1oz and 1lb bags. Grove has more choices but a little more pricey.

For storage I use 1L mason jars but I find my quality drops around 9 or 10 months depending on the strain and how often I open the jar. This thread has encouraged me to look at vacuum sealing jars.

Hey man, I don't have personal experience doing this but @VerdantGreen and people in the thread I pasted below seem to have good luck with freezing. BTW I have always felt that you have the best avatar on this site, makes me laugh every time lol.

How long can properly stored flowers remain usable? Indeifintely if frozen? Aside from the quality and taste diminishing, how long would it remain usable at least? :dunno:
