i run a portable tankless water heater for co2.i have a utility pump in a 18 gal tote filled 3/4 with water.i have an atlas 3 co2 controller in the grow.when co2 gets under my setting, the controller turns on its outlet.the pump is plugged into the outlet.when water flows, the water heater turns on causing co2.the heater only runs for about 20 seconds.the water goes back to the tote after being heated.i have not added water in about 6 months of running.i am on my second tank of propane(20 pounder/gas grill size)
the water heater costs 95 on amazon.
tote was 10-12 bucks
utility pump 40 bucks
titan atlas 3 co2 controller 350
i tried using a 5 gallon bucket for water res but once the water gets too hot,the water heater will not turn on.
the tote i am using's lid snaps on so water doesnt evaporate.
i am running 6 plants in veg and 6 flowering perpetual.
i am running around 2k of cxb 3590 led lights.
i exchange air between flower and veg so i only need 1 mini split,1 co2 generator and 1 dehumidifier.it also helps stabilize temps and humidity during lights out.
the titan controller has been good.there are cheaper ones since that is the biggest cost to do this.

i love the concept man - its just pricing is kinda steep for me and this tiny room
ive decided to try and convert my ac to a dual hose and move towards a sealed room
ive alrerady been inside the acunit to replace the exhaust fan, im pretty sure i can make the conversion, so ive picked up some registers, clamps and ducting to see if its feasable

stay tuned

and thank you bro, hope you get that power back on this weekend and stop growing them shrooms an dirt

quick note -
i aint seen my grows stack like this before
ever
this the first time ive seen cindy stack so tightly after the stretch,
its exciting
the bikers are stacking, really tight 3-5 nodes within the top 3-4 inches same for cindy

so many things are different in this grow than all my last its hard to say whats responsible for this
Such as
im bug free atm

ive used all 3 bulbs and said fuck it if the temps hit 88
as long as my canopy temps are 82 and lower , im good

im running only 4 plants; one per wall

im running 1 new smaller plant per every 2 weeks , im just starting to try perpetual

ive ditched all the humidity gear

im watering at least every 2 days

ive actually bothered to feed em once in a while

ive foliared twice now with my teas - they really REALLY like the foliars

ive not applied a single pesticide save the no pest strips which worked great and has been retired from the room to finish out the last 6-8 weeks

so yeah

these are the things i can say are different atm

Nice work! Canopy looks to be filling in wonderfully for you. This double stack, 4 plant design, has given me my best yields to date. Ive been experimenting with pruning to single nodes per branch tip for this style before flipping to flower. Seems to work out really well if you have a plant that has enough branch tips to fill in the canopy. Its probably a bit strain dependent. If I were running mainly indica, I think I might try 2 nodes per branch tip. Also depends on how much stretch you get per strain. Some strains need over veg'd, while others can be started at normal size to fill in the canopy.

I struggle to keep canopy temps less than 82f in this style. Actually that's what I aim for till mid flower where I try and get it down to 78f, then ideally down to the low 70s for end of flower. But I run perpetual, so I have to balance the difference sometimes.

What fans are you using for canopy circulation, and where are they located? Normally I just have a small fan blowing straight up the lights, and the intake and exhaust fans for the room as well.

just thinned the big one out this morning, shes been too close to the bulb so i had to relocate her

yeah my canopy can be 76-82 normally sometimes hotter
my fans are in ther ceiling blowing down the middle of the plants
if you look in the pics
youll see a box fan and a muffin fan up there
