i agree totally with you. Puritanical views have worked their way down to this young generation also .....I overcame all my early severe religious training and programmed guilt and learned to evaluate for myself what is right and wrong morally. But sad that so many moral police with nothing better to do than judge people. But I grew up in an enlightened time when we young were questioning our parents moral compass and not adopting it for ourselves, ......it was not easy going against the moral PO PO in Texas in those days. I was lucky because I was running with some ahead of their time women in Austin back in the day and was mentored well by them.

Seriously go look up pictures of herpies. You will be more caefull.

Yes it was hard for me being suddenly single at my age and still dreaming of having sex again. My nurse/daughter has especially hard time dealing with my sexuality.....some nurse she is....Her being almost 43 with a 30 year old husband you would think she would be more liberal. I was faithful to her father all those years and he was away from home much of the time in his career,,,so I involved myself in my education/career and raised my kids and a couple of my granddaughters even. i still watch their kids in retirement. But am going to start a new life with my new guy real soon. Time for me to have fun and adventure. I dedicated my life to them since I was 15.

Hilarious and that pretty much depicts life in a Florida Seniors community. We have a nudist camp near and an apartment complex where clothing is optional at the pool. I totally agree Feyd and it is how I show my affection and great love for my new man. As you know by now...each love of a man and the relationship with him is totally different. I just can't compare the 2 as they both of my men are and were great in entirely different ways.

Hey Feyd I happened to work for a short time in the 90,s where they were doing gender reassignment....but it was only female to male which is the most difficult to do. I did the after wound care on them and bedside nursing. It was an interesting interlude in my nursing career. But I am sure it can be googled now.

Trying to avoid the Swine Flu by staying close to home. Flu can kill us old geezers as our health is usually crappy anyhoo....no vaccine yet for swine flu and lots of Mexican immigrants here to pick crops currently.

.but I TRY to keep a positive attitude and that is hard in these scary times. Not just finances but unrest around the world concerns me. I think I am TOO AWARE as ignorance is TRULY BLISS. But I live in the middle of a SHIT STORM here with rampant gossip on the AFB here. Actually the center of the current war is here where I shop....and scary the gossip on base....but I will keep politics to my politic site. And weed talk here.

Something new and interesting: so I was talking w/ my spiritual coworker the other day about trusting men, and accepting them into our lives (we've both had bad past experiences). She gave me advise on a new meditation that I wanted to share w/ you because it helped me.

It's a meditation for you and your significant other. Imagine a pink ribbon flowing between you and your partner in the shape of an infinity symbol. Each of you are in your own separate ring, but connected as one. Ask Tara, the goddess of protection and strength, for guidance. You can continue as long as you see necessary.

Anyways, I tried it on our camping trip and it helped clear my mind at least! Between that, the campfires, walking down to the lake, and just lighting up w/ some friends, I definitely had a great time. = ) But yea, try this out if you want and let me know if it helped you as well!
