Deleting LP/PS texts has TRASHED his ‘investigation’. How can the President ‘defend’ himself after evidence has been deleted. This is BASIC law. Could be argued he has committed a crime. Now somehow these nevertrumpers will defend these actions. Kind of ironic how the DNC dickrides the prison reform then will defend these actions. Think mueller is just trying to save his ass along with any mirage of credibility. The same way they defend the murder of Mrs. Weaver at Ruby Ridge and their Princess Janet Reno at Waco
This has nothing to do with this thread. This is a personal attack and how this type of thread gets shut down. If you have some thing to refute anything VTA has said post it. This goes for anyone who is doing personal attacks.
If we want the country to be less divisive we need to start respecting both sides of the argument. The only way that will happen is if we keep personal attacks out of the conversation and use facts to back up your side.
There is a reason we have freedom of speech. With out it we end up a fascist state where good ideas are shut down and punished. This will then lead to violence by those in control and those who are not allowed to speak as well.

It is worse than deleting them when you destroy the phone. Mueller allowed this knowing full well that they were attacking the president. Mueller should have stepped down in the first place the same as Rosenstien. You can not be part of the FISA warrant and not be looked at as bias. His actions call the whole investigation into question because he did not step down. It opens him up to suspicion and tainted the investigation. He just gave ammo to the right to use against the investigation. A foolish move on his part. Mueller can not be friends with people he is investigating and that is what he did wrong.

The inspector general found no evidence Strzok and Page tried to prevent the FBI from collecting their texts.
The watchdog’s findings suggest the most likely reason the texts weren’t captured had to do with technical flaws in the FBI’s data-collection process, not deliberate wrongdoing.
It concluded: "The OIG investigation determined that the FBl's collection tool was not only failing to collect any data on certain phones during particular periods of time, it also does not appear that it was collecting all text messages even when it was generally functioning to collect text messages."
FBI tech specialists cited a number of possible explanations for the text-collection breakdown, from a 2016 software bug, to misconfiguration during the phone’s setup to a range of possible hardware errors, according to the inspector general report.
The collection tool had an estimated failure rate of 20 percent when used with FBI-issued Samsung S5 mobile devices. Both Strzok and Page used the S5 model during the five-month gap, the report found.
Only later in mid-2017 were they issued S7 models "as part of a regular technical refresh and to address issues with the FBl’s text message collection tool," according to the inspector general.
An outside expert hired by the inspector general to assist with the Samsung portion of the investigation concluded "it was unlikely that Strzok and Page attempted to circumvent the FBI's text message collection capabilities," and the watchdog found no evidence they did.
The inspector general also found the "content of the text messages did not appear to be a factor" in the retention practices of Strzok and Page.

The phones were factory reset after Strzok was let go for having anti Trump texts. This is the type of nonsense that has left the investigation in a cloud of uncertainty as to weather it was bias or not.
Anybody would have known not to reset the phones after the whole Clinton disaster. She did criminal activity and she got away with it by erasing her phone, computer, emails ect. Now no one will ever believe she is innocent of the charges because there is nothing to back up her claims or the claims against her.

Yes Ichabod this is true. We must have freedom of speech, even if they are alt right. In an ideal world, the cream rises to the top and people with good ideas are promoted. With the trump regime our nation went the other way. Lying by the president is accepted as normal. He loves the poorly educated and convinces them that stealing children at the border is ok. Taking the kids, they are too inept to keep track of what kid goes with what family. If you are really concerned about the fascist state, take a look at where the money came from to elect these people and have a look at where the two trillion dollar tax break went.

When opposition enters that discussion with the intention of sewing discourse and derailing the conversation, that is by definition 'trolling'. It really looks like the whole inner circle has caved. There is 800 pages of evidence on Manafort. He's screwed either way. If he gets out of jail the Russians will want their money back. People who crossed the line really have to go to jail or the whole justice system gets invalidated.

You attack MAGA kids and say they started it but I have seen plenty of examples where simply wearing the hat makes the nuts on the left go crazy. Take the chicken restaurant where the presidents press lady was attacked for doing her job. That restaurant ending up closing because of it. There are also videos all over YouTube showing Trump supporter being violently attacked for their view point. It happened on his campaign. The supporters walked out and were attacked after his rallies. You simply have no clue how bad it is to support the president and get attacked for your view point.
The taking of the kids at the border was done also before Trump became president. Obama did it as well. It is done to protect the kids from child trafficking.
At this point you dont need the president to blow a whistle because of the attacks on the president supporters.

iGrow- do you notice how the FBI ONLY has problems with their method/ technology when it highlights wrongdoings by either their political bedbuddies or their own agents? However when it comes to illegal spying on their opposition everything seems to run fine. I find it entertaining that she has a degree in Economics, yet her only work experience is as a bartender. I would be surprised if she can spell Economics. No judgment on bartenders, their are plenty of great intelligent bartenders. Just not Alexandria Occasional Cortex.
