A very busy morning puttering around the yard rearranging static displays and securing an overladen blackberry vine to a hastily erected trellis (reusing a section of fencing tied to a pair of plant hangers).
A failed greenhouse earmarked as a plant stand for future efforts is now flanked by recently planted containers awaiting sprouts of a hopeful pepper garden.

Funny seeing "Monrovia" nursery pots so far from home. They did start in my hometown but outgrew the original location and moved further east as the post WW2 housing boom in southern California jumped values of the towns closest to the metro core of Los Angeles.

Bonnie and Monrovia seem to be the preferred suppliers for the garden centers I frequent; as exposure to Sunlight degrades these over the years I am shifting toward clay pots and a collection of fabric containers the wife got for me.

While I nurtured the most challenged of my Lemon sprouts over the cold months, the remaining eight limped through but I'm not sure the Pineapple made it.

The pair I'd intended to work beneath the serious efforts in my main space simply wouldn't fit so they're ensconced out here in the relative obscurity of my backyard greenhouse.
