that smell
This grow I will be testing two creations from REDEYEDNREADY Seeds. Red was kind enough to send two packs with 11 seeds in each. First is San Juan Sunset ( Albert Walker x Ortega ), and the second is Seattle Sealion ( Purple Walrus x Ortega ) . The seeds were delivered on4-4-2-13 and went into water for 24 hours . Then they placed into moist paper towels and by the next day I had 9 ss and 6 sjs with tails. Placed those into 8 oz cups of promix. Another sjs popped about 5 days later and was also placed into promix. The first seeds were above ground within 36 hours and the runt was up within 48 hours but lagging behind The end total was 9 ss and 7 sjs. It was still Really cold here and I kept the germing seeds as warm as possible be it could have had an influence on the germ rate. So enough with the boring stuff, lets get on with the grow. I didnt take any pics of the seeds or of the new seedlings as if you've seen one you've seen them all.I let them grow for 12 days and they started letting me know they were ready to eat on 4-19-13. The cotyledon leaves and the single leafs were browning . I have used Advanced Nutrients 3 Part for many years and will continue with this grow. The seedlings got a dose of 1ml grow, 1ml of bloom and 1ml of micro. I also add cal-mag and they got 1ml of that . PH 5.9. They responded very well. On 4-22 and 4-25 they were fed with 2ml grow, 2ml micro, 1ml bloom and 2ml of cal-mag. ON 4-29 and 5-3 I increased feeding to 3ml grow,3ml micro, 1ml bloom and 3ml cal-mag. They continue to handle it like they are starving. That brings us to 5-6-13 with a increase to 4ml G, 4ml M, 2ml B and 4ml cal-mag. At this point the san juan sunsets have a pretty even canopy and fat leafs. The seattle sealions canopy is also uniform but about an inch taller than the sjs. All plants have grown at a steady rate and show zero signs of having issues. This is where the pictures start and will continue with weekly updates and pics. Just tried to upload pics from gallery and it says I dont have pics in gallery --any suggestions from old pros.
