Nice man, they have come on quite a bit mate... So these lot are going to be mom, that's right, I remember now lol... How many clones will you take from them for the trays?

you know after thinking about it i am no longer so sure if i should flower them and keep clones or take the extra time to fill the flowering box with clones. as my bud supplies are not exactly unending i might well take the faster route for the first run and flower these, or at least the ladies amongst them. it would be quite fun having just 2 plants under each 600 not totally efficient but as the vegging will have been done under the 250 it isn't too bad and with a bit of stretch and training they should fill the space. this way i will hand water them and save building the table till the next run with clones. not sure yet....

If u are anything like me you've probably flipped those lot to bloom in anticipation of a few buds for new years Little bit of training and I think that lot would give u a nice yield and the bud last time looked amazing.

I'd clone and then flip em asap, but that's just me.

You could have some nice sized moms from the clones by the time these lot are done, although you'd need another veg box, I'm sure that isn't a big problem though ay... That's if you have enough females there though mate.

not taken cuts as of today, will do any day now. still not sure what to do as i only have 3 clear females so far. either i'll flower these or take cuts and flower the cuts. either way i have to keep the genetics safe so i ain't flowering till i have rooted clones.

yeah like i said i'm not sure yet how to continue, so far only 3 have shown sex, which would be too few ino to fill my flowering box, which btw is still not quite finished

i'm playing with the idea to make as many clones as i can from all of them making sure to mark them all clearly so i can chuck the male clones later once i know what they are, or waste 2 more weeks with the branch in cup method under 12/12. either way i'll get there in the end. worst case i'll buy 50gs of wwa off a mate for the holidays if my stash is looking to light by then dont want to rush things and end up risking the genes by trying to get to the buds faster. you never know they might be a real bitch to clone or so. meanwhile i did get about 160gs from my outdoor plants all together, while some of it is not special it does get you stoned and some of it is actually quite enjoyable.

ok time for some portraits of the individual plants

so far i haven't numbered them, just put a piece of wire around the base of each of the 3 females i have found so far and tagged the 1 male identified.

i will be finishing the flowering space in the next days at which point i will take a bunch of clones and make the final decision weather to flower these and keep clones or flower the clones as i'd planned.

check out how the seedling support wire has been all put pulled out of the coco by the plant...

Finally...

Finally...

after all this time, i'm finally finished with my flowering box, or very nearly lol. anyway i made a couple of clones from each plant. so in the end for this first run, to get to some buds asap, i'm flowering the moms and replacing them with the new clones. now i just have to hope the clones survive and root, otherwise i still have time to take a second batch of clones.

the reason for my uncertainty is that i'm using the rhizopon tablets. the trouble is that no two people recommend the same dose lol. some sites were saying 1 to 4 tablets per liter or 4 to 10 for harder to clone plants. while the grow store guy recommends using 1 tablet for 10 liters of water lol. so i'm totally confused now. in the end i used the weak solution of 1 tab to 10 lt for soaking the cubes and the 1 tab per lt for dunking the stems. i use a soup plate full of water to make the 45° cut. decided to try making the cut under water as i've read this is supposed to help. we will see what happens, today is the second day since i made them.

ok time to get updated again. my 1200 watt flowering box was finally finished enough to start running 3 days ago, i have put them in new pots and will veg them for about 7 days total under the 1200 watts, as they were only under 250w before. i'm hoping they dont stretch to the ceiling, but if they do i will just tie them down and train them as much as possible.

the climate in the box is perfect with lights on and the ventilation on 1, as its cold outside i dont need more ventilation for now. will probably add a heater for lights off phase.

here the clones about 3 or 4 days after i made them

here the rest of the plants, hard to say which are males so planted them all in new pots except the confirmed 2 males.

hard to say with this one, no confirmation either way visible yet, but she does look slightly girlish

will be starting flowering in a few days if all goes well and the plants like their new home. meanwhile after 7 days i still have no roots on my clones, but i guess that's to be expected. at least they all still look perfectly healthy.

yeah i know, finally, right?

anyway just making a note for myself today is day 1 of 12/12.

Plants... as will be seen on the next update the plants had some cold nights before i finally got temps dialed in. got some red stems and leaves reacting to the cold. but things should straighten them selves out now.

Clones...still no roots on my clones last night. its been 10 days, i just hope they root, i saw what could have been a root tip on 1 of them, so we will see.

Good News!

on checking through my clones yesterday, i noticed the first 1 with roots. so that's day 12 since i cut them. this gives me hope that my rooting hormone tablet dosage was correct after all. was starting to worry. funnily enough it was one of the top44xSD/CJ clones that showed roots first. i am using the larger rooting cubes so i can't know if they are all taking or not. from the looks of them though they are rooting as they look healthy still. wow i really hope i get more the 3 females of the sdx cj, will be very interesting to find out how the top44xsd/cj will be like got a few hundred of those seeds, lets hope it was a worthy cross.

Looks great so far. This should be getting good soon.

yeah they were growing prety perfectly in the old coco, only after transplant did they show some less then perfect symptoms.

to be honest 'm already regretting not making a table, the hassle with run off is a pain without a proper flood and drain table. the only reason i don't add the table now is that i'm worried the plants might stretch too much and so i want to keep the space. but next run will for sure be done with a table and drippers again.

good to have you along, lets hope i can keep your attention as well lol. temps are very cold here at the moment and my ventilation set up is very efficient, even on the lowest setting i have to have a heater come on during the lights off phase to keep those temps from going bellow 18°
