Scandalous cannabis convent in the UK

I didn't count the seeds but would say there were close on a thousand, of which I have 50 odd left. the rest were all sent out to UK outdoor growers.

Now that is what i call a good-un . UK Outdoor is the best .

....
Hope that clears things up!!
..
Cheers, yep that's sorted it! :woohoo: :thank you:

I think the [Cheese x Leb] which you received = 'F1'.
The [Cheese x Leb] x [Cheese x Leb] you made = 'F2'.
Check the example on Wiki "F1 hybrid"...... it seems to agree.
This explains the pheno pattern I've seen as well. ;)

I think I got one like the 'black tar' pheno ...
..still curing, but lovely buzz, proper quality. :thank you:

Still my fave strain out of a large number of strains

Bugger!! I went on here and made a thread to make sure the 'F1' moniker was correct, and everyone concurred...

I was under the impression that the first gen would be described as simply '(x) x (y)' and breeding the progeny would start the 'F' stages with both parents containing the original parent plants... which still seems logical, even though it's incorrect!

Thanks for clearing it up.

yes I agree that calling it a 'filial' cross.....
....is completely misleading at the first generation
....when it's simply a hybrid.

Genetics is packed with these stupid misdirections.
"Junk DNA" was a classic example, now deprecated.

Hi Topbud82 :)

2013 is a year off growing.....

I have enough stashed to last through until late next year :)
and if it turns out that I don't, actually, then I'll buy a little to make it through.
Quite a few of my mates have lovely indoor cycles with results which meet my standards

I think we're nearly at decriminalisation --- hoping that by next year it'll be ok to have a backpack full of fresh bud anyway :)

:pirate: thanks guys

The beauty of a guerrilla plant is marvellous
sometimes a single pic can free someone from ignorance about it

see also pics by funkimunki if you can find them

Thought I'd go back through this
to fix the broken pic links.

A fair amount of shit has gone down since I was banned from MMKay420 in 2011
Someone there has been pretending to be me, trolling etc,
and it seems I'm still getting flirtatious attention from that direction.

So this is a bit of historical evidence in the face of it. :)

so, you have the accolade of an mmmkay420 ban.
did you upset the 'cool kids in the class' by daring to question them or offer better advice?
that's why i came here, and hopefully show some British guerilla action to an open audience, not a clique. Good luck this year, see you around

It's no accolade to be banned,
it would be better to leave a forum without negativity
once you work out that staff there are part of something wrong.
It's not like you're going to 'win' and you don't know
the history of why it is like this.
Resenting a clique is pointless, every online group is one.

Furthermore, the boundary of this forum vs that one
isn't real either - most of the same people are here and there and elsewhere.
Only the private invite-only sections can be meaningfully distinct.
I don't know if it's even worthwhile banning someone if they can start a fresh login
behind a proxy - from a mod's point of view, might as well leave them.

It's not even about the haters either.
At least there's some kind of honesty there from them.

For a meaningful take on it,
take a long look at these lyrics :

Please beware of them that stare -
they only smile to see you while your time away.
Once you've seen what they have been,
to win the earth just won't seem worth a night or a day

It's about the time wasters, the ones who start the same old arguments.
They're only happy if you join them,
It's not worth your time.

for down below they never grow
they're always tired and charms are hired from out of their eyes
never a surprise

Speaks for itself ^^

.. open wide the hymns you hide
you'll find renown while people frown at things that you say
but say what you'll say about the farmers and the fun
and the things behind the sun
and the people round your head
who say 'everything's been said'
and a movement in your brain
sends you out into the rain.

Nick Drake was a genius.
This song entitled "Things behind the sun".
I suspect he was successfully growing outdoors back in the 60s/70s.

So, after a few years of successful guerrilla grows, I'm packing it in.

Been vaping less and less for the last couple of years
I therefore don't need to grow more!
But there's another reason -

My body reacts differently to THC now. Might be age.
I still enjoy the buzz, it's a stimulant effect for me, but
I find it gives me a sort of hangover, starting about 4 days after vaping it.
for about 2 or 3 weeks I don't sleep quite right and overall it does a lot more harm
than good. It's like my immune system has locked on to it
and now I get a sort of allergy to it.

I've tried switching strains, and seeing what dose level might be better
but the result doesn't vary much - weed withdrawal just isn't worthwhile.

So I'm growing p.cubensis instead.
It's far more memorable and only a single day's tiredness afterwards. :)

Cheers :) I doubt if I'll be back again, as I'm an ex-toker, but I want to say:
I still think weed is a good thing overall for most people and it should be
decriminalised, and cheaply available, to minimise the harm of the supply chain.

We do have the natural right to govern our own consciousness,
and if the law won't respect that, people won't respect the law.

Also I think the commercial supply should be regulated and tested.
Commercial scale growers are always unpleasant characters -
- think what sort of person polices their own market - liars and bullies.

At least if it's official, we can occasionally kick them out and replace them
when they get too ensconced.
There was once a time when cheap, imported weed was widely available
and that situation was heaps better than this current situation where that choice
is not widely available.
