It's sad that anyone dies but if anyone must ................... you fill in the blank. I wasn't much of a fan and know no one with a LP of his. Do like lil red corvette and 1999. Barely!

I'm so shocked by this. I was just talking with my co-worker about how it's good that prince is still doing his thing even though David Bowie was gone. Heavy stuff man.

"Let's Go Grazy"

Dearly beloved
We are gathered here today
2 get through this thing called life

Electric word life
It means forever and that's a mighty long time
But I'm here 2 tell u
There's something else
The afterworld

A world of never ending happiness
U can always see the sun, day or night

So when u call up that shrink in Beverly Hills
U know the one - Dr Everything'll Be Alright
Instead of asking him how much of your time is left
Ask him how much of your mind, baby

'Cuz in this life
Things are much harder than in the afterworld
In this life
You're on your own

I was never a big Prince fan but he was an incredible talent. I saw a Prince impersonator at a club/casino in Vegas and he was fantastic. I remember thinking to myself..."this guy's better than Prince." After thinking about it I realized the impersonator was good but what made him that way was the material. Music just lost another great innovator. RIP

Never bought his stuff- not my genre. However, he was immensely talented.

Reportedly,Prince was hospitalized last week after his plane for was forced to make an emergency landing in Moline, Ill. Released a few hours later, he had been battling a bad case of the flu.
