I tried 1.2/600 ppm`s and the plants yellowed too early and suffered in the long run , so I upped it and found my sweet spot for max return and consistent results every run.....so.....
Here are some shots a few days after the flip.
Got stuck in quite the rut with these ladies and it took me a few weeks of drenching with low EC maxibloom to get them to recover. I believe I locked them up with too high EC, tossing them from T5s right into lots of HPS. Hand watered everday with 1.0 and then believe I might have been causing deficiencies from being too weak (pale yellowing). I'm still not 100% sure that they've made a full recovery and all leaf issues have halted. Blumats just now getting back to work after lots of flushing/handwatering, but the barrels are loaded at around 1.4-1.6EC.
We'll have to see how it goes. Upon a lot of my flushing I've started using dripclean on everything I get them from here on out. Hopefully that helps things.
Make sure I read that right. You handwatered at 1.0 and filled your blumatt res w/ ~1.5 EC solution?
That's pretty much backwards(unless you were hand watering multiple times per day?) from how you want to do it. The more frequently you apply fertigation, the lower the ppms required.
I usually used 1.5-1.7 when I was handwatering every few days(plus the occasional feeding of RO only...). Now that I'm on blumatts, I use 1.2-1.4 EC. I believe Heath and his RDWC only used 1.0 to 1.2
edit: Forgot to mention, your grow looks great. I'm a big fan of donuts(weed and pastry). Have you considered removing that middle light? I bet it would increase your gpw(although it would decrease your total yield)
