7 weeks of flower is just coming up, few more days
and i'm pleased with what i'm seeing
thinking the main cola is frostier on this run
that's part of the reason it looks like a white blur
that, and the camera is not the best

just 3 26w cfls - 78w total - they're the cheap GE soft white cfl's from walmart
temp in the mid 70's, growing in the winter is actually pretty sweet, temps are just better
better pics next week, get her out the chamber for the closeups

she's ripe enough to show outside, so pic show alls of her 7 weeks of flower
a smaller girl this time around, but i'm still new to guessing clone stretch
flowered at 7 inches/7 nodes - stretched to 21 inches
if i had gone with the 2X rule for indica's, i'd be screwed
better a little smaller, than plant that outgrows the chamber

coming up on 8 weeks of flower, gauging where i was in the seedling grow
1 thing is the side buds look denser this time, that's good
plant is significantly smaller, not so good, my guess the 1st time was spot on when to flower
which was dumb luck
but from my last grow log, the 'ripeness' isn't as different as i thought

thanks cheesebuds, not bad all things considered

just went by 8 weeks of flower
ripening may be a bit quicker than from seedling, but it's not much
be more sure when some amber trics show, which they haven't yet
and the lower buds are putting on some heft, not huge but plenty of them
so i may yet match yield from the taller plant if that trend continues

nice grow

nice grow

things are looking real good for you. kinda sucks that your pc grow didn't work out for you. I'm actually doing the opposite. I'm going from full size grows, to a micro setup.

can't wait to see those buds all grown up!

hey wsup I might have down scale on my micro grow in the future. and I like the way ur plant grows.
so I wanted to know what ur grow tube looks like. and what r the temps in there.

like do u have fans to blow and suck air in and out. and when u did ur seed grow how tall was ur plant when u fliped to 12-12?

thanks.

Ac|dRa|n - that's for sure - the big problem actually seemed to be the small pots, still not sure why
i am mulling another LST in a larger pot, just won't use a PC for stealth

#1cheesebuds - the tube itself was cut from aluminum flashing, formed circular sections and stacked them(3), 15 inches diameter, 38 inches tall
using a PC case fan near the top for venting, keeps the temps under 80
i vegged to 7 inches, looks like it's finishing at 21 inches
my 1st thread(which name escapes me at the moment) has some pics and more details on how it was built

just about 9 weeks of budding, no sign of any amber trics
trichome picture this time too, icey, shiny, but not ripe
this is just a slow ripening northern lights i guess

how is she looking now?

looks fine, pics tomorrow - the one issue i think with this strain is ripening time, you can ripen for a long time
i've seen a few experienced growers mentioned you can ripen true northern lights a long time, it will just stronger the longer you go
i'm sure there is some limit though

well, it's all about the trichomes
was really hoping my clone's maturity would be faster than from seed
just ain't happening, tons of frosty trics, but amber time isn't here
so it really looks like a clone matures no faster than a seedling
at least in this respect
trichome picture and bud shot below
