Hello icmagers ,
As i promise you today i have pictures for you and i am open to every sugestions that you may have.
I put some ph down as always and a take some pictures of my girls
i dont like much my canopy cause i find it too bushy , the bigger top is almost 16 inches (40 cm ) over the canopy and idealy i would like the bigger top to be 8 inches or 20 cm over the scgrog net.
Anyway i will learn to manage scrog soon.
@Mr.Jones at 0,5 gpw i wouldn't be happy at 0,7 gpw i will start smiling

Today i make a res change and mix my solution with
Lucas formula at 0-1-2 ratio at 1245(.7) ppm .
Unfortunatly the root mass is as big as needed so i cannot clean my res as i
would like.I can spot fractions of roots flowing in my solution and i am searching
for a solution to this .
Maybe a filter or something , any ideas is welcome.
Today i make a res change and mix my solution with

My tops is 60 cm(23 inches) over the scrog net when
my plans was for the half of this.Anyway next time i will know.
My solution remains in Lucas formula temps are around 21 celsius (70F)
My girls drinking up almost 3 liters a day and they look 100% healthy.
My solutions ppm and ph movements remain a mystery.
ppms going up (without topping off with water) wich means that
my girls drink more water than nutes.
The rule says that when ppms rising ph must falling but this is not
working like this in my case ,
my ph updrifting everyday from 5,3 to 5,9 or 6,0
and my ppms updrift 10-30 units per day (without topping off with water)
i am tired chasing my ph and as long as the firls look ok i give them
5-6 ml GH's ph down to bring down their solutions ph.
Shiva Skunk completes flowering in 45-55 days and i am on day 19.
Probably i will harvest at 55 days watching closely for the amber tricromes .
The first buds start forming , i remove enough fan leafes that shading
budsites and for now the only think i can do is step back and watching
them.
I have a few pics for you and i will post some more tommorow

slight burnt tips you got but thats ok (in my case im always aiming for that)

did i tell you that i grow shiva skunk??? in the past in my soilless
grows..i found it very nice with a good flavor and taste..is true!!
so dont worry about your scrog and think the buds you make...
has nothing 2 do with the big bud..

Hey Mr.Jones & tjo
Do you think that i must remove my scrog screen and try
to open up somehow my canopy for better light penetration? ( tie them somehow )

It is true but it sooo slight i try to push them @ 1300ppm(.7) but they
don't really can eat all that food.I try to push them cause they are
finishing soon and if i flush for 10 days i have only 3 weeks more to feed
them.

no..also your space is not that big so let it be, and dont remove
your screen.thats my opinion erwin..aucource you can do whatever
you want but only damage i see with removing your screen now.

so heres the deal:
this might be painful but in order to get higher quality and quantity ...
i would cut everything away that i circled in the picture - everything that is below 10cm under the other ones i would just cut away
the stuff below will only give you shitty not dense bud and will cost you yield.
now is the time - when they start packing weight it might be too late!

Today i spot the marked branches and some more
like them that are hiding from you bellow the canopy.
Tomorrow i will remove them and yes it is a painfull
procedure.It will be better if i follow your advice two weeks
earlier when you told me to do it put .. it is
a painful decision so forgive me.

BIG TIME and i didn't even understand why ?
maybe cause evrytime i make a training session i brake
some budsites and i was afraid to continue trining them.
Anyway next round i will be better.
I top off 9 (2+ gallons) liters of pure R/O water today and drop
my ppms to 1120(.7) i don't addback nutes and i will
keep the solution this way just for today so i can monitor
the ppms movement.
I am start planing the timing for taking clones from the Shiva mother worst case (55 days)
i will harvest this 4 shivas so i have 5 weeks ahead before the new clones go for flowering.
So 2 weeks for roots to appear and
2 to 3 weeks under my floros and after that i will throw 12 clones
to 12/12 inside my small closet.
It is going to be a jungle in there i think.
Thats it for today , tommorow i will be back with photos of
how to murder small budsites :(

i notice your flowers are much bigger than mine..maybe because
that strain finished earlier...
also i saw signs of heat stress in your leaves.. keep an eye in your temp..
..and stop blame your self aboyt the scrog game.you almost 2 steps before a nice harvest.for your very first hydro you are doing better job than others who knows more than you..

yeah - clean them out - you wont regret it ...
well you are doing great and as long as you have enough space towards the top you will a superb harvest ...
your grow reminds me on one of my first hydro ones some years back:

i can wait to see them.
My canopy temps is 26-28 Celsius but i don't want to raise my lights
cause it is only 400W and i have a jungle there.
I am not crying for the scrog game i am just trying to realize
where is my mistake , anyway i am happy for my first Hydro run
but i will not speak until dry it.

leave this bud site alive ,leave the other bud site alive get out
of here and all this stuff , i finaly manage to remove enough
of them but not as much as i will put down if i was alone.
I remove the thin ones that they are more than 15 cm below
the canopy and he fin't allow me to remove the left low ones
cause they have thick brances anyway.
I took 3 clones also from the shiva mother the 3 higher tops
cause they are touching my floro and burn them selfs , i put some
clonex and in some budsites that i trim and put the in rockwool
as an experiment you will see photos.
My ppm even in 1150(.7) keep rising i found it 1170(.7) today
i think that it is cause my girls drinking water like crazy.
Tomorrow i will raise it back to 1250(.7) and i would like
to reach 1300+(.7) cause i have a few weeks more to feed them
I will give you some photos now and i will update when i will
have some growth in my budsites .. hoping soon

well i know removing plant material is always hard - you'll see the more weak branches you remove the better you are.

Hello everyone some updates and a lot of pictures for you.
Mr.Jones i have the canopy photos especialy for you.
Well i am happy not only because everything seems to going fine but
because my Shiva mother after toping off the 3 bigger tops of her in
two days time respond and start growing 6 tops .
Also i have an update for my balcony Big Bud.Well this balcony
Big Bud start from a clone that is going to the trashcan ,i decide to give
him one last opportunity to survive and throw him in my balcony.
This clone it was taken for a vegging plant that germinate from seed one year
before now.Well my balcony Big Bud alone harvest more than my 400W closet.
Before 4 days i found one BIG fat seed in one dried bud.It is the only seed that i found
in 30 Big Bud plants that i grow.I start germination for the seed with no hope
that it will germinate cause it was to dry and with a small crack.Well Big Bud
don't like to leave me without That strain and the dried seed germinate and waiting
a new home . I will give to him a party cup of soil just to see what is going to happen.
I will post some photos from Big Bud history and feature.
Enough with those Big Buds.
Tommorow or the day after i will make a res change wirh R/O + tap water mix starting @
120(.7) ppm , just to try stabilize my ph updrifts.
