finally some progress
the sister of the selfed OHz queen is pregnant

6 week and the get directly planted after little dry and a night in da fridge ;-)
love the plant and the high...
sooo positive ... no cloud no hangover no comedown... just fade away...
the best of the best for sure
born 1976 ... now 44 years later still alive and kicking...
there is nothing that beats it still
the high is like the grow... an awesome long ride and you steer where you want to go...

original haze and congo genetics are only ones which give me electrifying racy funky upbeat high with head rushes coming in the waves. many phenotypes of OH just give clear spacey creeper kind of effect with peaceful euphoria, great for meditation, but I prefer that electric one.

it's like a good vine ...

That’s some amazing resin, I’ve gotten used to seeing some of the haze /NLD pics to sometimes look a little “dry” ( less resinous)

That certainly isn’t the case for this one!

most smell like Aframomum melegueta pepper
kind metal with pine/lemon...
i'll don't smell it so much... but my friends said after smoking in a room and coming in
that it has this incense sandalwood smell in da air...
church would also fit me think...

A question for the community.

Original haze is Colombian. But does anyone know if it is related to any variety of Africa or Southeast Asia from where it is said that they arrived in Colombia?

also yes would of been from old world. columbian gold apparently is one of the most distant relatives of majority of varietys ie not found in much of any cultivars tested. perfect for hybridizing even haze as i think it was the most distant relative of even c99 (haze ancestry). probably a super rare "columbian gold" from 70s sent in by sam. and other more ubiquitous CG may not share the same genetics. 100% speculation, but food for thought.

ohya slaves, slave ships brought cannabis, among others, so very well could be hybrids leaning to indian varietys?

I read somewhere have no link sorry - maybe mexcurandero420 can help me, that some dutch company was growing Indian seeds in Indonesia before 1900, and some US company bought it from them and brought it into Colombia to grow it for medical purposes..

In the 19th century the Dutch brought seeds from India to Aceh Indonesia as a pest repellent plant in the coffee plantations i found in several Indonesian papers.

American pharmaceutical companies (Parke Davis, perhaps also Eli Lily) had seed collectors and brought seeds what i read written by someone else from Borneo to Colombia for the development of new medicinal varieties in the 1930s till 1937.
