CO is already hitting nasty lows as people with mountains of mediocre medicine try to unload it.
"Mediocre" is in the eyes of the biased and arrogant observer.
My hand trimmed H&G is going for 2200-2500/lb, same as the big machine trimmed canna fed batches coming out of the patient cooperative I assist, I can move zs at 175-200, but that only gets rid of a pound a month at the very most.
Yep. And I'm laughing my ass off about it. It does not take a brain surgeon to understand that this would happen, and will only get worse for you. The whole "artisan hand trimming" bullshit will be one of the first things to die off in a legal market. Your meticulous hand trimming does not make the bud smoke better, as much as the pot snobs try to fool themselves that it does. Who the fuck is going to pay $3000+ lb for marijuana when they can get the exact same thing for less? Within ten years cannabis will be $200/lb. What then?
Just wait until somebody tiphat starts flooding the market with pallet after pallet of high quality cannabis cigarettes. If you think things are bad now, can you imagine how much your life is going to suck when 90% of your customers prefer to buy "pre roll" rather than meticulously break up buds and roll shitty joints?
As producers cost decrease, due to efficiency increases, stubborn mules who are stuck in the past will have one of two options: a) find a way to keep up, or b) go bankrupt. I wonder which one you'll choose?
