Blatant case of misdirection, and a sympathy ploy...I was watching the interviews after Penn State beat Ohio State today. Jay Paterno (Joe Pa's son) was giving a post game interview.
He has been the quarterback's coach for 12 years. On Penn State staff for 17.
He did not fail to mention his father's sudden case of "treatable" cancer.
If he really does have lung cancer, I believe it's called karma. If it's BS, having been a cancer survivor, I'm even more disgusted. If that's even possible.
Whatever the truth is. This institution certainly does have a cancer and it looks terminal.
Reminds me of Sarah Palin - lugging her son w/ Downs around like he was a bag of groceries - "Oh, look at me, I have a special kid, I must be a special mom, feel sorry for / vote for me". C#nt...
The cancer is money - big money, or the fear of losing big money, is a powerful influence to not rock the boat. 53 million a year in revenue. Imagine being the guy that blows the whistle on the guy blowing the kids - lotsa folks gonna resent the end of the gravy train.
