hey! people!
DW, nice bush! it doesn't look all that seedy. do you think they are viable? was it a light leak?
hi, gegessh! welcome!
JJ, thanks for the link. that whole site is excellent. there is a nutrient calculator in there somewhere.
well, i'm feeling worse every day. i got an x-ray done that shows a partial obstruction of my small intestine. it is a foreign object. pain is really intense.
about 10 days after the liver transplant my bile duct collapsed and i had to go in on an emergency basis and have a stent put in. the stent holds the duct open while it heals. about 8 weeks later they go back in and remove the stent. this all went smoothly.
about a year later my duct collapsed again and they put in another stent. two months later when they go in to remove it they find that it's not there.
when the stent comes out on it's on it falls into the stomach. from there through the small intestine and, ultimately, takes the southbound exit at the hershey highway off ramp and it's goodbye.
well, mine never made the complete trip.
i'm scheduled for a mri friday to pin down the exact location. if it is where we all think it is there is no way to get it out without surgery.
the "object" is 4" long and about 5/16" in diameter. it is shaped for easy transit but apparently mine folded up and lodged.
sometime around thanksgiving it moved from a place where it was not blocking to a place where it was.
so, i'll be out of commission for periods of time unknown.
i'm going to have to put my seed starting and light measurement program on hold for a while.
i apologize for any inconvenience i may have caused.
later, d9
