You can say that again. Watching Washington fuck up our economy and the banking system fuck over the country - all when it doesn't have to be that way for us to prosper - is certainly interesting.

History will not be kind to us. That much you can bet on. A hundred years from now people will read about these times and wonder how we could be so naive and so stupid as to have to keep relearning the lessons of history - the hard way - because we refuse to understand and come to grips with human nature.

One thing is for sure. Without any Republican support, the Democrats will be taking all the credit (blame) for their policies - once and for all. I know they hate the idea of people holding them accountable, but they are going to be accountable this time and I am going to enjoy watching them have to lie to try and justify why socialism doesn't deliver the bacon and how we can spend our way to prosperity even though there has never been a single case in the recorded history of mankind.

Yep, history is made everyday and it is indeed an exciting time.

In FL too....so I fish my ASS off. Have snook dinners every other week. Other than growing nug and fishing, my xbox 360 gets the rest of my time....

just off the top of my head;

camping(both tent and cabin style, I have a feeling this year im gonna try more Cabin type, my back will appreciate it. Last year after a few festivals my back had me nearly in tears...), hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, urban hiking, people watching, drinking at good bars (reasonably priced: fuck 5+$/beer), bowling, golfing, tennis, grilling.

Hell I even enjoy shopping for clothes... as long as its for myself. Watering holes and waterfalls in New England, Fresh water springs down in FL. Traveling, flying, even renting a car and driving all around an area of the country.

I also like indoor stuff too:

Movies, tv shows, horticulture, cooking. Hmm i really like to be outside more than in... really sucks here in winter. Spring is right around the corner.

I like doing sports when I have the chance and am not feeling lazy - rock climbing, football (soccer), kickboxing

Going out to pub, club, cinema, concerts/festivals

Staying in and playing drinking games with my friends, music, xbox, films

I loooove fishing, but i havent been able to get out for more than a year. We mostly do coastal fishing up here in NOrthern california, fishing for seaperch off the coastal rocks.

My other hobby is model railroading, here is a layout im working on. I only use Japanese based trains and buildings, i grew up in japan and cant really afford to ever visit again so this gets me by.

other than that my main hobbies are probably smoking way too much weed and trying to get rich as possible

I like to read, mostly sci fi, detective, and secret agent stuff. I like to build stuff, weld, carpentry, fiberglass work, stuff like that. I built a hot rod from the ground up many years ago (still got it), still playing with cars and trucks, and love speedboating.

Speaking of knives, one of my grown sons collects swords, and makes hi own knives, mostly from kits. I give him a hand with stuff like that when he's around.
