Wow! What a great multi-year thread on NYCD!
I've got three clones ready to go into flower at the
end of the week and I have to say I'm really amped
up about them after looking at all of the perty pictures
of it here!

soma nycd grown around here goes for $100 1/8 in NYC. they say its worth it. the smell is most intense. i found growing her a little difficult, but the results were worth the effort.

grown soma nycd and rez chemdd. nycd was more "exotic" deeper and danker.

the nycd buzz is too intense for some. it really scatters my thoughts...

I love reading this thread because I have some NYCD going!!! I recently bought a 2' plant of NYCD after a hydro disaster and put it in coco/perlite. Was a little skeptical of the genetics of many of these clones, but so far the places and growers who have sold or traded me clones/plants have given what they advertised and I'm pretty sure I have the grapefruit pheno'd NYCD. I rubbed the main stem and can see how it does resemble a grapefruit smell. The leaves look very sativaish and it's tall and lanky. I thought the grapefruit pheno and tall sativa pheno were different?

Is this going to take 100 days to flower?

as stated earlier there are two main phenotypes ive come across one is a tall lanky sativa pheno wich has little to no smell and then there is a short indica pheno wich stinks like citrus/pineapple/grapefruit perfume...very stinky plant , umistakeable aroma and taste...i gaurantee once you get that phenotype youll throw away the other pheno...the stone is way nicer on the indica pheno...i found the sativa high to "up".

Hi NYCDfan, I have a stinky grapefruit pheno I got as a clone but it actually looks very sativa. She's tall and lanky but has that skunk/grapefruit smell that sticks to your fingers when you rub a stem... I think Hazes are the best and hope this NYCD Grapefruit Sativa has that amphetamine-like "up" because I love it!!!
