hellafella you might want to consider putting some fish in your reservoir. I'm trying a test run with some tomatoes and peppers, here's they are at the start: http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=2550972#post2550972 -- they've really taken off since, I'll post some up.
I'm kinda living out on the East Coast right now... Hopefully gonna make it back to San Diego again soon and give y'all something to drool about... I just got a SIIICK camera too, so the pictures should be off the hook!
Kinda busy being the the military right now......, I KNOW, WTF?!
Was hoping to get stationed back out in Cali so i could still do my thing. Who know's what might happen, I have all my equipment still.... East coast hates weed tho... *le sigh*
GAH! I'm about to get out of the military! Can't wait to get back in the swing of things.... Dunno where I should take myself, back to Humboldt? SoCal and the older stompin' grounds, or mebbe even take a crack at San Diego.
Just re-read a few pages, sorry I dropped off like that
I was in holding to leave for the Military, I finally got the thumbs up and had to bounce with little warning before bootcamp. Sadly that outdoor DWC got donated to my bestie down the mountain when I left: he ended up turning them into mothers since they were so trained/bushy/perfect for clones.
I WILL DO THIS AGAIN next summer! (given a private enough backyard again)
Imma see if I can whip up a MSPaint picture of my REAL outdoor hydro system i want to build. Mentally engineered YEARS ago but never realized....
I can't remember who I brainstormed this up with back on Overgrow... It might have been Oscar Meyer if anyone remembers him....
We were frequent collaborators if i remember correct.
Essentially its a radial collection of troughs that slope gently back into the res...
The pump runs up to a manifold that has lines running down each arm, with top feed micro lines coming off it. Gravity feed back into the res, prolly add an extra line at the end for a 'lil NFT action.
Now that I look at the picture, I see a big gap right on top the res.... I might just have to modify the lid to accept a DWC plant to continue that experiment..
