i am a little mystified as to how a trichome forms. anybody? is it spit out of the flower onto the leaf? doesn't make sense to me when I take into account the sahpe of an individual trich.

i'd love to see a video of new trichome formation. true budporn.

I had some mystery clones I have been growing this year that were supposed to be OG. After looking at some pics on the forum I guessed that it was Bubba Kush. I just got confirmation that I was right. I hope you get to figure out what your mysteries are. Did you get a little rain today? I got a bit.

no rain, but it was cloudy for about 75% of the day. I have figured out most of my mysteries... most recently the Headband/Afpak mixup... I am sooooo happy to have it figured out... makes so much sense too because, having ECSD, Headband (which was supposed to be the real fucking deal from a reliable source VIA a crap source who mixed the two up) and the tahoe OG in the same garden is awesome...

The mystery surrounding the Clueberry is kind of figured out. The consensus is that its probably an attempt at coming up with the Blue Dream from BB and some kind of Haze... it doesn't matter what it is, because its now the ClueBerry and some serious fucking cats will be running it over the next year and for sure it will be heavily represented in next year's OD gardens...

So the Flo-esque plant, of which I have 3 out there, is the last mystery in the garden. Boo.

So I don't understand, how do you break it down to dispensaries if you can't weigh it? Well you don't have to answer it's probably a secret but garden looks spectacular however I think we need an aerial shot like from a helicopter to see it all.

obviously, one needs a scale... its just something the cops use when they want to throw a charge at you... so if you are in the practice of minimizing risk, its something to think about.

Oregonic: wish you would post the White Berry info from your PM here... I am expecting to take her down in 4 weeks... and she is exactly what you mention... the perfect BW phenotype... getting lots of hype as one of the "hot new strains" of the season.

regarding Paradise Seeds White Berry and flowering times, I actually ran 2 different phenos of white berry indoors a couple runs ago, and was pretty disappointed yield-wise. Finishing times were suuuuper fast for indoor, like actually done done at 50, but yield wise compared to other Paradise strains like Jacky White or Spoetnik 1, it couldn't hack it. but if you got your hands on a good yielding pheno, the smoke was definitely nice.

Ok... first, I should say that I smoke UP TO 30 bongrips a day. There are some 5 and 10 bongrip days in there too...

Photos... For the time being, the Berry White and Flystery are the stars as they have the most advanced flowers... The Flystery finished in 50 in the Black Box, so it'll probably come down around the same time as the Berry White.

If crystal production was insane a couple of days ago, I don't know exactly how to classify it today...

Flystery...god I wish I had a name for this... Since 3rdI seems to have the most experience with the DJ genetix, I'm looking to him for an opinion.

I am going to wait a couple more days to update the photos, but what's going on with the Fkystery is wild. Even more resin production than in the black box... fattening up very rapidly. I think that it will be finishing at the same time as the Berry White. 4 weeks or so. Wild.

Found powdery mildew on the AfPak today... hit it and the bubba next to it with the Kaligreen. See http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=136003 for details. I will be hitting the rest of the garden tomorrow night.

nice thread, nomaad!
i wish my first real grow turned out half as well!
you can do all the book research you want, but field research is where it is at.
AFOM offered me berry white a while back, and while he was enthusiastic about the cut i turned it down. always go with another growers' enthusiasm, not just their recommendation. if nothing else it will broaden your perspective. anyway, i was already running blue dream and an oldskool blueberry so i figured a third berry was too many.
oops.
from the beginning of the thread i was hoping that the bluedawg also would turn out well. both flavors are favorites of mine. i'm not sure how they'd mesh, though.

thanks for the killer thread!

p.s. about your clear tray idea, there are these things called skeleton trays that are like mesh or webbing, instead of solid, and i like to set them inside the main tray to check on roots.

The Blue Dawg... This is a plant that came from the source of all my mysteries... I am sincerely doubtful that it is actually what its purported to be... It has absolutely ZERO in common with any BlueBerry I know of or any Chem Cross I have come into contact with. It is extremely Inidica in stucture and size... looks a lot like my Grape Ape, which is 100% confirmed to be the real deal.

I will look into those trays. Thanks for the heads, up.

Since 3rdI seems to have the most experience with the DJ genetix, I'm looking to him for an opinion.

It's hard to say as i have only flowered f-13 and vanilluna so far and they were indoors...a tell tale sign of Dj genetics are deep dark purple almost black stems outside...out of 4 strains they all exhibit this trait...and they should eventually turn purple for sure, although there are green phenos found in all dj's strains...do you have any idea what other genetics are in this strain? It definitely has the resin coverage of a DJ strain...what does it smell like? super hashy? mentholated? coffee? grapey? berry? creamy? tobacco?

I would post post some pics in one of Mr. Alkaline's, Purceville's, or XYZ's threads...those guys have way more info and experience then i with DJ's work...do an advanced name search, paste name, select threads started user...it will give you their threads instead of having to sift thr/ the dj forum for em

Nice pics bud :D...keep em coming...Sour D shots?

Oh yeah...fyi...all DJ's strains consist of four main parental genetic lines....Purple Thai, Flo Afghani, Highland Thai, and Blueberry Afghani...there are different combinations/percentages of these 4 parental lines in all Dj's work.....Original Flo is 60% Purple Thai, 40% Flo Afghani....F-13 is 80% flo, 5% Highland Thai, 15% Blueberry Afghani...BlueMoonshine is 9% flo, 10% Highland Thai, and 81% Blueberry Afghani...for example

I know exactly what it is now. Its the Goo. I was at fisher's farm today and I am about 90% certain that my "Flystery" is his Goo. You have no idea how relieved I am.
