Blues look real good but the sharks look to be the team to beat in the west! My cats still scrappin for that final spot, the Rangers couldnt handle the bruins defense and goaltending, were two pts back from 8th and 3 pts back from 7th with 5 games left... CATS can do this!!!!!!!! CMON GUYS!!!

This is gonna be a heck of a post season in both hockey and the NBA( Go heat!)
Oh yea and i think the pens can beat boston to play the sharks 4 the cup

Hockey is fun even if your team dont make it to the play offs, i would know my Panthers havent made it to the play offs since 2000-2001. When the regular season ends and my Cats dont make it i find myself watching our conference rivals and even cheer some of the individual players efforts, hockey is an amazing game simply for its speed and dexterity. I especially love playing NHL 08 and 09 for xbox 360, its really just a good old fun game once you know all of the rules( well most of em anyways ). Not only all of the stuff fore-mentioned, but it is the OLDEST organized league in our history and we owe them alott for all of the achievements theyve made setting the bar for other leagues.
With that said i pray to the fuckin hockey gods the panthers make it in, i know theyll most probably be SWEPT out in the first round, but man would it be exciting to just have them in the playoffs. I think the Cats might not be staying in South Fla, if not they might want to consider breaking the longest play off drought for an expansion team.

Wild Wings game on NBC right now, pretty much a must win situation for minnesota, but we are losing 2-1.

edit: Probably wont be able to say this next year when he goes to another team, but I love you marian gaborik. Tie game at the end of the second even though they are outplaying us like crazy.

Oh yes, PANTHERS TIED in points with the Rangers, I hope we can sustain the energy and destroy the flyers(we did it not too long ago, they actually sparked our latest play off bound burst). Cats smoked the guins last night 4-2(MKABE!! got anice goal when he scores we win alotta games)...Voukie redeemed himself big time.
Were in it to win it now, i think we got a legit shot to make it to at least the first round of the play offs, i do not think my Cats will be able to handle the play off veterans of the east @ least not enough to make it past the first round.

GO OTTOWA TONIGHT!! destroy the HABS PLEASE(even tho the habs areplayin strong)
oh and who the heck to i root for Tuesday night when the habs play the Rangers( i think the cats got a better chance at catching the rangers so i think ill go for the habs who i think will win anyways.. prediction : HABS win 3-0. lol i guess it dont matter as long as its a loss in regulation and not an OT out come, that would suck.

How about them sharks tho? they look pretty damn good right now, another hot team is the St Louie Blue-ey's i got a feeling well see them in the play offs too(itd be cool if they got the sharks in the first round)

"TORONTO (Hollywood Reporter) – Canadian pop star Celine Dion, Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and Quebec cable giant Quebecor Media have emerged as potential bidders for the Montreal Canadiens NHL team.

Quebec broadcaster Radio-Canada said Wednesday that the Bank of Montreal has signed confidentiality agreements with 10 potential suitors who have until 5 p.m. Thursday to submit formal bids to 80 percent majority owner George Gillett, a Denver-based sports team and events promoter.

Other interested parties include U.S. investment firm Spectrum Equity; Montreal businessman Stephen Bronfman of Claridge Investments, a cousin of Warner Music Group chairman and CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr.; and the Caisse de depot et placement, a provincial pension fund giant.

In addition to picking up the hockey team, a Canadiens buyer would acquire the Bell Center arena in Montreal and a concert promotion division.

Gillett also owns Richard Petty Motorsports and the U.K.'s Liverpool soccer club.

What did you think of that penalty shot call today against the Wings in the last seconds of the game? Be 100% honest now, no bias, and watch the replays if you need to.

Not only was that NOT a penalty shot, there was not even a penalty there to begin with. That was just a great defensive play on the Wings part in lifting the stick to prevent a goal.

Anyone who knows me knows I am never one to accuse things like this, I give the refs a lot of slack, but a call like that goes FAR beyond just a bad call, and makes you honestly question the integrety and motives of any ref making a call like that.

One of the absolute worst calls I have seen against any team all season, especially knowing it will most likely result in a game winning goal this close to playoffs.
