thats a terrible story and i agree meth is bad,but that kid was mentally ill.murder is not the answer.i honestly dont know what is but not murder.sometimes i think it should be something like clockwork orange and just the thought of drugs make them sick but we are in the golden age of science.surely something can be done but there is no money in that.any advanced treatment can not be affordable to the average person let alone a full blown addict.not to mention the goverments of the world are the ones making and distrubuting most of the worlds drugs.addicts are practically forced to be addicts until they either die or go to prison.they cant win.

Yeah, that solutions by killing is the ape part of ourselves taking over thousands of years of social evolution. Philippines has more than 7000 islands. Put them all meth heads in one island just for themselves with a ton of meth and army survival rations and let them be. That's democracy. You make it sound like there is no choice in the matter of being an addict. If you guys feel this way just hearing about it, imagine how it feels to do the killing, imagine being so desperate that you end up killing your own son. It would be nice to see some sympathy for the victims of the addicts. Instead of branding them as murderers.

That story you posted moses is beyong wrong. Murder is murder, no matter the justification of the murderer. There are lots of mothers where I am from(Portsmouth,VA) who cant handle infants due to having no resources so they throw them in dumpsters to die. Are the justified? There are always other options even in thr most desparate of situations.

This thread has shown me that some people really do condone death as a punishment for any problem.

Methamphetamine is really bad but don't blame every problem on users. People on drugs who commit atrocities, usually have other problems going on. Most drug addicts don't steal, they don't kill. Bad people murder, bad people also just happen to use drugs like good people. If you cant distinguish the two, then open killing of addicts to solve a problem is terrible.not justified, and murder.

All I can say is good luck to the Phillipines and the rest of the world. Scary times.

i have seen a few posts here on the 'exile' solution
put 'em somewhere where they are no threat
there is a lot of history on this one
for 1000's of years it was the solution, either you got out or faced getting killed
if it's between murder and exile, exile does seem the lesser of 2 evils

I would be very very careful.I've heard this scenario before.The desire to go abroad is very strong for the average Filipino.Marrying a foreigner is even better.Not saying that your gal friend is like that,but man,I've heard it so often that when I hear someone say what you are saying,I just have to respond.Met a guy here that had married a Filipina.He retired and moved here with her...ended up with a houseful of family..none of whom work.He got an inheritance a couple years ago and bought a real nice house...next thing you know,she has a boyfriend and he is out.Lost everything he had.

The judicial system is really tilted toward the locals here.All a women has to do is accuse a guy of abuse,and you get a ticket home and never allowed to return.
