You got some big ladies for the indoor show. Nice work. Which light you used?

Thank you for the compliment!

Small led panel, in 3x3 tent. They're small buds in real life haha. 400w hid I run in flower during winter makes bigger yields :shucks:

And the next round is sprouted. Some ace and bodhi gear via doc d. I think I'm sticking to bodhi and ace gear for the rest of my growing days. They are two breeders I've never had problems with their gear. Always potential for excellent outcomes and gear is as described. Such vigor.

Sounds cool, any thought of changing it to Led?

I only run the HID set up in cooler months, too hot here in summer. I run an LED panel in summer months, it yields less but quality is still there.

If I run HID in summer yield is good, but the potency and terps suffer from heat damage/stress.

I'd rather have a 25% reduction in yield than a bunch more, but shittier, flowers  I have thought about portable AC, but it is a bit of work and extra power for the set up right now.

Sounds very fair. Keep up the nice work.

This plant we call 'high hopes' and is the first test of a group of nevils haze mango males we used to pollinate some kush and chemdawg crosses/s1. We hoped this dad would have good terps. Bit low on the yield, but so were the two pure kush x eurkle moms we selected, and they were potent as shit with og kush typical growth. When she was growing she had a sweet candied lemon smell, but in the last 2 weeks a berry or grape smell has come ontop of that... she's got a blueberry or raspberry lemonade thing going on. Better than we hoped for.

She will be harvested soon. We will explore more of this cross ((Pure kush x eurkle) xnhm) and (chemdawg s1 x nhm) in coming grow.

Just love the look of the babes... they look so happy. So excited to look at more Honduras genetics, and always looking for that perfect haze hybrid...

I heard there is a cross of SSSDH x A5/Thai out there called 'The Shire' from crickets & cicada.

I'm a huge fan of bodhi male selections, and though he is a rat fink, sssdh is a household favorite. We bought packs from OJD CSG who is a stand up guy.

I must buy more seeds, my wife will be disappointed.

Here are some pics of the two haze hybrids still left going. In the first shot two side by side buds you can see the difference in bract productivity but similar structure. Left is nevhils haze mango x golden tiger ( Mr Nice & ACE seeds respectively) and the right is Nevils haze mango (Mr Nice) The terp strength isn't quite there yet for the nhm x gt but she has earned a few more runs. The environmental conditions were not perfect for either of these girls. I have clones of both,, I'm not likely to keep the NHM.

The NHM on the right is a pretty typical plant of what you would expect from a Mr Nice pack of nevils haze mango: very long, airy buds, classic whispy haze style. She has strong mango and uria sent. I bet she will have a wonderful aroma when burned, like her sisters before her. There are other phenos, but this is like 75% of what you find. Pretty solid stuff for a haze lover.

Forgot to add the Nevils Haze Mango solo pic. Obviously not as resinous as her half sister, but very strong terps. The reason we work with this Mr Nice line is her potential for haze potency and her smell. The smell has some variations among the different phenos in a pack, but it is always powerful terps throughout a pack.

Both the conn cookies and high hopes have dried and been sampled.

Connoisseur Cookies

Little bit of purple and green thing. Just opening the jar it's afghan funk stacked on that very cookies terp profile. Smell just fills the room when you crack the jar. Last time we grew this it had a gas/fuel chemical smell, this time very earthy afghan kush and cookies. People will like this smell. My wife does not, hahaha!!

She likes the smoke though. 7.5-8/10 because she's a pot snob. She'd rank most of the gear in shops at 5 or best a 6/10. (That includes other cookie fam gear & hybrids) The effects are a nice dreamy buzz with a good 'warm' body stone. Very nice. The smoke is nice, thick smoke with a burned hashplant smell. A better smoke than some of the commercial choppers cookie stuff for sure. More to so with their grow than genetics probably.

Would grow again if it was an option, but alas that's our last seed. I would search for that gas pheno, it was uniquely pungent odor that was a real head turner. Everyone should be familiar with the afghan kush smell this one had, what made it unique was the smells turned up to like 11/10 haha. Probably great hash or rosin plant too.

Thanks OJD, hope you find some good ones in this gene pool.

I'll post more Bout the high hopes when we've smoked more of her. She was a little 'nanner hoe at the end, but we have many seeds to go look for her fatter sexually stable sister. Very nice plant on first impression...

To be continued....

Harvested the nevils haze mango x Golden tiger and the main colas of the nevils haze mango.

Nevils haze mango

the con cookies been a nice change of pace around here, heavy hitting indica. And the high hopes has good potential too, good potency. I can find a better smelling and sexually stable plant I'm sure. We have a few hundred beans to sift through haha.

The Sarai and NHM will cure for a while before any smoking. The NHM turned out to be one of the nicer ones I've grown to date. Might end up being a keeper, she sure yields a lot of great smelling bud, just hope it smokes well.

Take it easy folks

So right now flower room has some short flowering clones going to fill a gap between the finishing nevils haze mango and the upcoming Honduras crosses and bandaid haze run.

This is a mothers milk selection from Bodhi seeds. She passed the empty jar race vs her three sisters

This is the other clones that is an empty jar winner among her run earlier this year. This is Old Family Purple s2/r2/f2 from CSI humboldt. I do NOT know how to properly call this generation. It is a group of old family purple selections crossed back onto itself... I dunno. She's a mutant and yields low as fuck, loves to be bone dry (responds very badly when over watered), and smells like someone dumped floor cleaner into a dumpster full of burned tires. She smokes good tho.

Oh yeah and she has intermittent black pistils while in flower. Color is independent of Temps, Low Temp is around 74*f. She finishes a Purple Grey color bud.

Some bandaid haze recovering from an over zealous IPM treatment. . . Always critters in all the organic amendments I source, always f#$@ing something :moon:

They're doing well now, they also don't like to be root bound.

Strange plant, I've not seen those pistil intermittently color like that... no balls hanging low anywhere here but mine, so they aren't pollinated.

This is the bandaid haze ix3 male I'll be putting aside, he looks the most like his vigorous happy sisters. Putting 3 into flowering tent sometime next week... maybe sooner, they seem very happy but have outgrown their pots. I can't wait to put them into some fresh soil in smarties.
