I just checked out that 1200w thread. Nice looking quality but i still think it looks thin. Way too thin and larfy to produce 4 per 1k or even half that imo. I just dont think its the producer the op stated and hes never shown a single photo so im pretty sure it was false.

Yeah, I do agree the original claim made by the thread's creator is pretty extreme and I would love to see photos.

The end results on the 1200w thread look like they are probably over the 1 1/2 lb mark, although its hard to gauge such things just by looking at them. I know I use the same size jars and they tend to hold between a 1/2 oz and 1 1/4 oz each depending on bud density and how full they are. He has 12 jars plus about as much again sitting in the pile in front of them.

Anyway, it's all just conjecture and guess work since neither of us have grown the strain ourselves. The strain definitely looks like it yields well to me but that still doesn't prove the threads claims one way or the other. -shrug-

Inquest> I was going to ask if I could grow Malawi with a 400 watt lamp but I see you did a grow with one with little effort. How long did you veg. for? Did you use clone or seed? Any tips growers could give me on this strain I would appreciate it.

:thank you:

12/12 from feminized seed
42watts pre sq foot CFL
1 liter planter
seed to smoke in about 4 months

then ran her:
12/12 from 10-12 in vegged clone
400 watt HQI @ 10,000K
4-5 gallon planter
harvest in about 3 months

should have vegged and scrogged her under the 400w. and used coco to improve soil texture plus a richer compost.

The only place I have seen with Oaxacan at the moment is Sativa Seeds but I haven't heard much about this breeder so I can't vouch for the genetics. I've been patiently waiting for Mextiza to restock at cbg but I haven't heard any news about it recently.

I grew sativa seeds "sativa slang" about 4 years ago, it was a phenomenal plant, heavy producer and required no maintenance just like the description. You can check my profile for pics of it.
