Lucas GH2part vs Maxibloom (Afgoo 1600w)

picked up some sulfur spray to cross attack the PM along with the serenade.

found out about a product thats the same as eagle20 forgot the name but my shop is ordering it but think it will be too late in flower this round to go on these plants but i will apply it to my mothers and clones, for a brighter future.

spoke to my blumat dealer and those are on backorder but should be here by next wed.
very excited to get those set up.

so a question...i want to use a bud booster and i know on the 2 part side rez uses kool bloom powder and am rly curious if i could use this same product with the maxibloom for a most even testing ground...
ive seen some use bloombastic with maxibloom but a 120 dollar booster vs a 20 dollar one im not so sure thats fair...not to say i wont try the expensive stuff in the future, im just trying to keep the playing field level and simple as can be.

so would love to hear i can apply kool bloom powder at same times?
or just a good booster people are using with MB that doest cost a 100 doll hairs?

much thanks and respect

Yah, I use it for 4-5 days before my final 14 day flush. I add 1/2 tsp to the 1 tsp Maxibloom.
Hope that helps:tiphat:

i do (mostly) straight maxi, and i add .25 tsp/gal KoolBloom along with my normal daily feeding (1 tsp/gal maxi) on the first day of week 4, 5, 6.

DAY 9 OF FLOWER

Changed my Bulbs in both lamps (Super Hortilux) - they were both a little old.

Trimmed up the garden took 20 clones just for fun experiment,

precharged some coco at half strength maxibloom, shaved the bottoms of my clones

and put them in solo cups...no dome no hormone, well see what happens i don't rly have

high expectations.

will post pics later.

I am interested in this. From what I have seen, looks like the maxibloom with koolbloom works the best.

I am used to compost teas, GH, and cutting edge. I am thinking about using the K.I.S.S. method in coco, but I am worried about the heavy metals building up, salts, and a lack of flavor. Anybody who has smoked properly done organic cannabis knows about the mouth watering flavors it produces. I am worried about losing that quality. I have smoked quite a few buds recently that utilized the kiss method and they tasted like shit and burned very unclean. I am chalking it up to a lack of flush though.

BongRipken - Thanks for stopping by, i do agree organic soil will produce a fuller flavor, what i am going for will be a more pure flavor with a cleaner burn, i will be doing a good flush to ensure this. :)

some pics after a bit of trimming and taking clones...also spaced them out a little bit.

At this point there is no difference at all. they look to be very happy on both sides with equal thickness node spacing leaf color and overall size.

one gain i would find is in the GH 2part, being able to cut the micro earlier for a better flush is something you cant do with the maxibloom.

Peace.

Great side by side, mate! :)

Exactly. This is the main reasons i chose the 2 part for my first grow with coco. Good luck with it. It'll be interesting to see what you come up with. :dance013:

they are filling in the net so nicely
good to get that net on there nice and low
my bottom branches on my afgoos are not holding themselves up anymore
plus you can always throw another netlayer above if you need too

im hoping that the maxibloom turns out to be the winner
ive had two bottles of flora bloom get mold crap in them and had too toss them
no such problem with the maxi
the maxi res has a nicer color to it also
and using tap water with the maxi seems to have helped with cal mag issues

thanks for the puttin in the effort to do the test
ps. there is always that maxibloom/koolbloom option too

very pleased with everything thus far
will post pics tomorrow.

peace.

went in today to check on blumats as i was adjusting them i began to notice the plants on the left the maxibloom side were all around bushier and seemed to be winning the race thus far....also noticed the start of some resin production which is nice.
gonna work on getting my hands on a better camara for nicer pics.

Peace.
