Hey Mrpiston, yeah kinda figured they were only good for reproducing, just like us hahaha.

I've been using a 400hps, from the start, a lil bit of quick grow hydro nutrient, and a shot of molasses (organic), I lightly water, everyday. Just using 1 fan, temps are 78 with light, 67-68 during sleep.

They are lookin quite happy, i'll snap a few shots after supper...I gotts the munchies. Cheers

hi folks, quick question, is it to late to take one of my girls and pop her back into veg? I wasn't really considering cloning this time, so no big loss if its a no go, im kinda content, to just let these crazy cool plants grow...truly a privledge to watch it go...almost...spiritual!!!

there is a debate umong growers as to folar feeding in flowering. i have seen that it can burn the leaves if done when the lights are one. when i git farther along in the flowering process 45 days+ i would use a spray bottle 16 oz or so and use a balanced ph water and molasis when the lights have been off for a few hrs. not a heavy spray just a light mist to help with bud development. the simple sugar in molasis is the same as most flowering nutes, pluss a hell of a lot cheaper gl and if u have any Q's ill try and answer them when i get on.

I would do most of my feeding in veg and first two weeks of flower, occasionally I would give them a spray later in flower. The days I would do it in flowering were the days I didn't water, something like twice a day every week or so. one right before lights come on and one right before they go off, what ever felt right. Not only did this help with nutes, it help me control temps and humidity a little too. The main reason you want steer away from feeding in flowering is you really don't want that stuff getting your buds all wet, you could get mold, lose potency, etc. Also if the light is really intense where you spray you could get burns like MrPiston had stated.

Dry rootball + foliar feed = powdery mildew for me. Any time I spray during flower, I let it dry then spray with plain water and shake off excess. I would not recommend foliar feeding once the buds start to harden as the potential for mold goes up significantly (unless you are having herm issues, then reverse would be preferable - or horrible bug problems).

now there is some useful information, all three of you, mr.p, green basterd, and da rookie...i appreciate your insight. i just been misting them with plain water ph6.2, although sounds like i can start adding sum molasses to the mix, they are getting nutes, but not from the sprayer...thanx for the feedback and mr. p ima take you up on that offer...cheers! whats a post without pics...shes my main squeeze!!!

here comes another amature question, i just noticed the temp in my cubby hole is like 72f in the light, im up here in Canada...eh! haha it got a lil cooler here, thinkin my basement isnt gonna get much cooler...itll probably be like 60-62 in the dark...my question is that gonna have a negative outcome with final yeild???

maybe depends on the strains. some strains will only just change colors (ie purple) but some dont like cold and will slow down bud production. one thing u might want to consider is useing a small electric heater to help stableize the temps. some people make it so the temps drop low to get purple buds, its a selling tactic but other then that not really good or bad.

62 is a little on the low side. Some sativa don't like it. A little heat will not hurt for the reasons m38 gave.
