apparently the solarflare from California light works only draws 165 watts and not 200 as stated in the chart listed in this thread.

I apologize that we have discontinued the ES165 in favor of the LumiBar. The LumiBar is the most technologically advanced light available. It represents more power for the dollar and is quite robust in its applicability.
Just wanted to pass this on; I inquired to Lumigrow yesterday as to why the ES165 only has a 3 yr. warranty, while the ES330 & Lumibar have 5 yrs, and this was the response.
JHas anyone seen the Lumibar sold anywhere but from Lumigrow?
I´m seeing only ~1.2gpw. Not that impressive.
'only' 1.2 gpw??? i'd say that is very respectable. remember that HID growers tend to use the quoted watt consumption for their calculations
on the lumibar thing, the more i use LED the more i want the diodes to be as evenly spaced over my grow as possible rather than coming from a big bunch in the middle... so i see that bars or small units - or better still custom/home made ones - are the future.
HGL also only do a 4ft and ive wondered why they dont do 2ft ones as well - which i reckon would be very popular and more versatile for smaller grows.

thx 4 all the info and i know very little about led's but none are on your list.
im wondering if you have ran across any marine led's (lumishore, abyss technology, ocean led) used on docks and boats. some of these are rated for underwater use and should be a quality built led due to their target market.
i think i want to start to add led's and eventually go all led's as my budget allows. i need to replace my 1200w of hps for my tent.

Yep! It's why I am switching to 3 60x3w light bars for the next round.
what brand? e.shine?
Yeah, their 4g lights.
Aluminum casings, much quieter fans.
