hello everyone! the day has finally come. six hours dark. then tonight its 12 light, 12 dark, on and on in that sweet rhythm of bloom. going to be shoot for 10 weeks. need a solid run. maybe one smaller follow-up. i'm not looking to sell, just to store enough herb for a year or so and not have to pay these prices anymore. wish me luck.
now serving:
the four bagseed along the wall, on the right:
on the left, five each of cherry haze, viper x trainwreck, and bubba kusha x deep chunk.
check out these leaves, as mentioned above. that's a felt pen for reference:
i planted five Skunk x Haze also
and the blueberry got a transplant to 3 gallon!
so here we are, at day 1(ish) of flip. should be pullin a good deal of these in a week or so. i'll be taking a cutting or two off each female, cloning, and gearing up for a round two right behind it, quickly like. no more than a couple weeks later. then i'll be keeping just one of each: the VTW, CH, and BKDC. not gonna worry about the SHz, just running her through for kicks. also the blueberry I'll keep around. hehe.
finally, a look at what is still in veg. four VTW seedlings in 3 inch square pots, and about 15 cherry haze seedlings in the float and grow.
love the roots.

well everyone, i went to the store bought a 33 carbon scrubber, a sun systsems reflector, plugged in my 600 hps bulb and my buddy's lumetak digital ballast (thanks man), hooked everything up with duct tape and bungee, and the room is ready for bloom. 1200 watts ready to kill it. turned on the co2 boost, but i'll probably pick a new one up just to be sure it is in working order. enjoy some pics. sorry for the one duplicate.

- suspended my exhaust fan with bungee instead of being screwed to the ceiling
- sealed the room completely. had just did a quick once-over before.
- redid the exhaust so it is air tight when leaving the grow area.
- put all veggie seedlings in dirt.
everyone is now in dirt and with plenty of room to grow, so i can relax a bit. in veg i've got 5 Bubba Kush x Deep Chunk, 4 Viper x Trainwreck, and about 15 Cherry Haze. all seeds, so sex is unknown. they are sitting under a couple of hardware store shop lights for now. i'll probably pick up some T5's next time i'm at the store and retire the shop lights.

btw ... this bagseed plant was minimally altered. i think i discoverd my new approach to bushing. i FIM'd about week four, just once. while i was at it, i removed the top four fan leaves covering the lower shoots. it makes sense when doing it. i'll take shots next time and diagram the technique. turns out some nice bushy gals. i'll be pruning the lower regions in about a week. going to be taking clones from everyone, once sex is known. i was going to clone before, but honestly i've never had problems as long as it is in the first two weeks of bloom. (knock on wood.)

you think the shop lights are pretty much as effective as the T5's? i would love to save the money, just want something good on the veg room. and i just had the lights pulled up for the pic--i keep em about 8 inches above the canopy
