Katsu Seeds

So, I´ve been wondering and thinking about the name/word KATSU and what it might mean. To me it kinda sounded as though it could be a japanese word.
So eventually I used google translator and it actually translated the word katsu (japanese) to the word AND.
But I´m still left wondering...
