Hello, Beautiful plants!:tiphat:

It is really easy to solve that problem. Long ago most weed was seeded so you can proceed with the same protocol.

Allow the seeds to form in the buds until they are fully ripe. Choose to dry the buds now with the seeds, or later without seeds.Take a toothpick (a wooden one, or a steel one from Arkansas ) and a bag. Enjoy a free evening. Or a night of sleeplessness counting seeds instead sheep! Dry your weed if you didn't it before, and cure it.

Perhaps it wouldn't be the best smoke you can get from that genetics, but I think it is still pretty decent.

I saved the weed from my durban poision and blueberry grow, so basically my last two runs. I made the bb into rick simpson oil, and I still have all the shake from the durban that i will make ice hash or rick simpson. Except for the bud i lightly seeded, ive been smoking on that, limited anxiety with it, liking it alot.
With the kerala, there literally isnt a calyx that doent have a fat seed in it, id be pulling off the husk and saving that lol. Yes, this would work for alot of my runs, this one would be alot of effort for probably what would account for 5 hits max of the tiny husks lol.

To introduce my next reproduction, i was blessed to get some seeds from oldbootz, he collected some swazi locally and bred it. He had a special plant, he called A1, i will be growing and showing off these offspring for him. I put 7 of the ten i have in papertowel, and now have all 7 that have sprouted above soil. Very excited about this. Something about people personally collecting seeds from the source, direct from the culture, that gets me all hot and bothered.
I also popped 4 of my lebanese repro from a while back, mainly just to see what the plants look like, study the traits and such, no real plan with them.
The kerala seeds are getting done, so plucking those like crazy. Nice healthy medium sizes seeds. Really happy with how this repro went.

Yea malawi can finish dont have beens but j want try next seson one female and clone.j have in 14' 2 og kush clone all star flo in first weeks of august

Good luck with the pheno hunt. These ones are really vigorous (A1x) and about 4 times taller than other seeds planted at the same time. The focus with this first breed was to get a nice population of leggy sativa with good terpene profiles since there are a lot of lesser desired terp profiles in the Africans. The mother will give musk, citrus, sour fruit and the fathers that gave 90% of the pollen should give woody eucalyptus mentol terps. I'm hoping for about 50% plants with good terpenes. Potency will be next on the list to address in the further breeding. The mother has a centering effect that's very peaceful but not sedative. The fathers sisters that we tried all had that racy heart-beating sativa high.

Sorry its been a while since ive been on here.
@ grower1234- ive crossed some sinai with a couple plants but havent explored them alot yet. The couple i have grown or seen grown, the sinai tends to be dominant. Right now im just building up pure stock before i really dive into crosses and hunting/stabelizing.

@mensgk- there are people with some nevilles around here, not me though. Look up madmac, a guy from europe i think that had a keeper nevilles and he crossed it with everything. Really skilled grower who gets great results.

@ oldbootz- thank you for the description. Its always better to hear it from the source then me butchering the information lol. Ive seen your comparison next to your lemon swazi. Haha its not even close. There is no doubt- they lack no vigour. I still have them on like 18/6, maybe 17/7, whos counting. Ill keep em this way for maybe 2 more weeks max before flipping to flower. Nice green medium width leaves, with good seration. For their small size, side branching is starting very early, and their leaves stretch out on long stems. So far so good. Really appreciate the chance to run these, im sure this wont be my last go with em.
Pic 1 and 2- current pic from tonight. Transplanted into 1 gallon pots recently.
Pic 3- them beside 4 lebanese F2s made from my RSC seed run.
Pic 4- the A1 swazis before transplant just a couple days ago.

Ill do an update on my greenhouse grow for smoke, not seed, in a bit. Dinner time.

Yup, sinai shines. Ive only done sinia x pck from my stash, and its looked like sinai basically.

So the greenhouse, a reminder i have 7 of the original DJ blueberry females, from clone. They have been topped, as they were getting huge. I have 4 confirmed females of my BB F2s. I have 3 confirmed females of k1 zamal x BB. I have 3 feminized barneys farm cbd blue shark. I have 3 slowly flowering mighty might x (timewarp x amstel). [Thanks onceupon]. I have a unknown female seed called lifesaver, i have 5 nanda devi plants, one is a double plant from one seed, really cool. No sexes on nanda yet, i think maybe one female, two males, and 2 unknown (the double plant single seed ones). I am not confident enough to move out any nanda males yet. And one mystery sativa, that i am fairly confident its a k1 zamal, but cant remember why i know this. Structure matches my thought, so i think im right.she has shown sex too.

So im way overgrown, as you can see from pic one. Alot have reached the ceiling and beyond. Ive had to tie plants, bend ect. Im terrified to see how it all fits during flower.
Pic 2- zamal x bb leaf, really huge.
Pic 3 and 4- mm x tt x amst budding.
Pic 5- zamal female.
Pic 6- nanda tops reaching the ceiling, theyre lower leaves are huge too. They are massive vines in one gallon pots.

Lovely ladies you have!

That pic 5 zamal female looks to be an extreme pure sativa. Nice to see those kind of genetics unhybridized!

The A1 seedlings have quite fat leaves as seedlings and they get thinner as the plants mature. It happens with a lot of the swazi here. Occasionally you can get a plant narrow leaf from seedling but its not as common. I see you got one there with thinner leaves than the rest. This one is probably Limpopo dominant. The mother plant A1 had fairly thick leaves as a seedling.

Update on the swazi ladies. Today is their first longer dark period, flipped it to 11/13 last night. Two phenos, a shorter compact pheno (2 plants), and taller pheno with larger leaves (2 plants) and the other 3 are somewhere inbetween. Stem smells are good for their young age, fruity and musty are the 2 most common smells.
No pests, no knats, mites or thrips...not sure if its the plants or something else. but its a welcome site.

Pic one, group pic. Theyre on the right with the 4 lebanese on the right.
Pic two- showing the two extremes in phenos.
Pic 3- the standard medium to small deep green leaf. Should see em thin out soon as they start to flower.
Pic 4- shot of 2 lebs, very squat with large leaves. Typical and expected.

Really only bud shots i have to show are my mighty might × timewarp x amstel (passion#1) that have hit flower hard early. The fatest one reaks of citrus and is chunky. The other two are a touch behind but filling out fast.
Pic one and two are them.

Pic 3 is my k1 zamal, stretching alot lately. Its put on 12" in the last week or so.

Pic 4- nanda devi leaves are starting to dwarf my quite large k1 zamal x blueberry leaves.

the lebs are all pretty similar, no real phenos to choose from yet. the pic showing phenos is the swazi. is this what you meant (4 plant pic?)

these lebs are seedstock from my repro of RSC's lebanese. here are some photos of the moms, and one outdoor plant that was grown for smoke. think 2016.

The heat is on here, uppers 90s to 100s F for the last week or so. I think this is causing some heavier stretch. I came back from a 3 day business trip and the A1s put on 30%+ to their height. I got 2 females and 5 males from the A1s (no intersex yet, woop). I got 1 female and 3 males from the lebs, the males went to the trash. Stem smells from A1s are strong, think there will be some good terps.

Pic 1- the group shot. 2 a1 females on left, female leb center, 5 A1 males on right. Two got frickin tall. The three shorter pheno plants were all males. Thr females fit the taller pheno, but on the shorter side of it.

Pic 2- 2 A1 females

Pic 3- one male got a double top, but not sure why. Nothing "topped" it, and cant find a cause outside of natural growth.

Thanks for the updates.

I did see these kind of stretch internodes on some of the A1 seedlings that I had in smaller pots. The ones in the tub didn't get it so maybe its related to root space.

I'm glad you can smell them already. Mine here are at around week 5 of flowering and they smell quite strong and fill the room with an odor.

The male that topped its self looks interesting.

Ive been a lazy bastard when it comes to updating here, busy and just been side tracked alot this summer. sorry.
Anyways, i just harvested the two swazi A1 femlaes last night. Got a couple hundred seeds im guessing. Both plants has seeds on the large side. one plain brown seeds. One had the tiger striping.
Here are the last photos i shot. Nice resin on both, very sticky fingers from seed harvest. One had a tobacco scent by the end, with a slightly sweet note. It had the most resin, and better yeild. The other had a more common sweet tangy kinda fruity smell, although the other one had it beat, this plant was quite nice also, nothing to complain about.
I found these babies to be quite resiliant, drought tolerant (they got a little dry a couple times), good bug resistance compared to the previous runs recently in same tent. Very acceptable in the resin and smell department. I have more originals and now offspring to run again, these are a keeper strain for future runs and crosses. Thanks bootz, this story isnt over...

Also- i cut my leb at 48N early to mid august, and i would classify it as quite ripe when taken. No doubt or wonder if i took it too early
