Is civilization about to fall?

F

I hope I fizz out in a nuclear event...I don't want to march into a gas chamber because the goverments have labeled me a Carbon Predator....a terrorist...even grandma is a terrorist until proven innocent.

Whether she falls or not...the goverments are plannig for everyone to behave as if it's gonna fall...and they are using your tax dollars to buy sound and microwave cannons to mutate our organs and make grandma deaf....yes, the republic has fallen already...and it' global...this is pre-2012...some have gotten a head start like the rabbit did to the turtle...yeah...turtles vs, rabbits....
:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:
better go back to the asylum and get some thorazine or other meds because the weed isn't helping. this is the biggest crock of shit I've heard.

F

hows that?
Do you believe also that the US Government has cannons and using them from secret bases slowly killing us?
Thats like believing that the chinese have a super ray gun that can destroy the earth and yes there are vids on youtube where the so called 'experts' bring forth the truth on this.
Be real, if these secret society's actually had all these things then they are not so secret. Sure governments control people, You need some form of control or there will be complete chaos. Do I support my government? yes and no, but realize that no matter who is in control there will ALWAYS be other that oppose them. It's a fact. Until humans learn to get rid of greed and selflishness there will always be wars, etc.

See, that is what I talk about when I say that the left lacks debating skill.
Here you take a statistic...of which I guarantee you can't site the study or the "non-partisan" group that conducted the so called study...and turn it into some sort of ammo for your argument.

If you insist. Now you'll discredit the source for being Harvard educated. It wasn't reported on Fox so it must be bogus. :nanana:

"Research released this week in the American Journal of Public Health estimates that 45,000 deaths per year in the United States are associated with the lack of health insurance. If a person is uninsured, "it means you're at mortal risk," said one of the authors, Dr. David Himmelstein, an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School."

http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/09/18/deaths.health.insurance/index.html

Problem is, there is no study and you can't point us to it. THat I will bet big money on. And, if there is a study, it had nothing to do with 45,000 people dying because of lack of health care insurance. Bullshit thrown around by a bullshitting leftist. Actually, it is probably just being repeated by you..and another leftist fed it to you.
Pay up dude. You have pitiful knowledge of current events. Leftist? You sound like Lou Dobbs. I hear Fox Business is trying to score Lou for their show. Will make CNN slightly less nauseating, lol.

There have been estimates, conducted by very partisan groups, that claim there may be upwards of 45K people uninsured in the US, but other studies claim it more in the number of 17-18,000 without insurance at all in the US.
And of those, NONE are refused care at ANY hospital.
The AJPH is not a political rag. It is a medical report. Dude, you're throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks. US Census says 47 million. Who says 18,000, Glen Beck?

Bringing up bullshit statistics is a classic example of the flailing and failing left...but it only works on dumbasses that accept your bullshit statistics.
Classic hoosier. Always blames others but points the finger at his own foibles. The only bullshit numbers are yours. I didn't expect you to agree with them and I knew you'd make up your own stuff.

Wise up and stop eating the shit fed you.
Please don't stop, hoosier. Your shit is far too entertaining to ignore.

* A perfect example...
I don't accept your stat on it's face, and have more sense than to believe it. In fact, I went and had a look at it.
You, on the other hand, take that bullshit stat and run with it.
There is your difference.
What's your point? Is your visceral (gut) feeling about annual deaths somehow more accurate than a major university study? No thanks, I think I'll stick with the pros.

Here is one for you to either buy, or show it's not true....
Over 60% of the US is happy with the health care and the insurance program they have now.
None of the figures you purport are true. I even think your British friend has a degree of imaginary to it. :biglaugh:

The crisis is in the US Administration going to war with the insurance companies. When you see those sorts of things happening, the left has pulled out all the stops just to further their agenda.
The way W gave a trillion to the top 2%? NOTE TO hoosier - every administration attempts to further their agenda.

They also went to war against FOx news, which is by far the most watched channel in the US. They are also the most fair and balanced (as their namesake suggests) of any of the networks. There was a study conducted at USC that proved FOX was the most non-biased news channel out there. Oh, and I can site that study if you aren't sharp enough to google.
Fox is a political hack job, not a news org.

But see, with the left it's all emotions and feelings. They leave their common sense at the door.
If only you could remember where you left yours.

I wish some of you would go look at youtube for the guy who masquaraded as an official from the US Chamber Of Commerce this week. Called a full on news conference to state the CHambers position and that it had changed on the climate change issue.
Thing is, the real official from the Chamber showed up, and exposed the bullshit news conference at the National Press Club. Had he not, the hoax would have gotten out on the news as if it were real. Classic example of the left and their agenda overriding the truth.
hoosier, that's old news. "The stunt was pulled off by the Yes Men, the activists best known for posing as corporate executives in order to reveal how corporate greed negatively influences public policy. Recently, the Yes Men have focused their attention on the urgent need for action on climate change. Today they sought to reveal--and repeal--relentless corporate lobbying of elected officials aimed at derailing domestic climate legislation and a much-needed global climate accord." statement from "the guy", lol.

I love debating hoosier, like poking holes through swiss cheese. It wasn't a misinformation attempt. Those guys are protesters and reveal the truth at every event. Welcome to the 21st century.

Well said. Greed is civilizations most exploited vice. Check out the current issue of Rolling Stone. There's an article about Wall Street eating it's own after the financial crisis. These guys know no limits.

you can have the religion but we know better about institutional morals and ethics.

Sure you do. (sigh...ignorance abounds)

I'll restate. I know you're a religious warrior but we know better than to assume you have a lock on morals and ethics.

I think the "apocalypse" will happen gradually if it happens. It won't be all book of revelations whup ass, that shit is just silly. And remember humans can solve problems as well as make them. Medicine can protect against sickness and new medicines and technology is being invented every day. Diplomacy can overcome war. Environmentalism can overcome degradation. Democracy can impose social change. There is hope. But survival is not a sure thing. There is no such thing as destiny, only what we create.

i always tell people i hope you enjoy bible stories, cause you're living in one.

silly shit. you are so far off and so close to seeing the cruelest reality unfold on mankind. welcome to the book of revelations i would begin to look for your thief that comes in the night now, as with your view your gonna get robbed and bad. oh and don't think i subscribe to the nwo conformist view of worship such as churchianity. i am a true hebrew not jew. and most here have yet to meet a real jew(Yahdai) and know him as such. Rothschild has bank like you can't imagine serves an earthly king that controls YOUR daily world his God who is your earthly master is the servant and creation of my Elohim. yes your worst nightmares are very real. the very things you deny are the substrate of the web that holds you. ohh o i think i see a spider coming.

Thanks for that really good written post.
I live in socialism germany and I used to live in the U.S.
Germany is better to the people than the U.S. The government in german takes better care for the people.
America was great to live but the government are brutal to their people.
The way people have to make a living in the U.S. really shocked me. But I agree with you there is nothing perfect on both sides.
And I also met people in the U.S. they were very rich and honestly I have no symphathy for them at all. They think they are better and they showed it too. I think they were useless mf.
XXd

Germany is a perfect example or better-refined capitalism. In terms of business and how capital is treated, I would say its very similar to the United States in one's ability to accumulate wealth (the wealthiest people I know are Germans)... however, the socialized health care, elder care and pension system provides a safety net for when capitalism fails somebody.

Hoosier: You cite, chapter and verse, the line about China, Cuba... Have you ever seen Cuba's health system? For a country with the liquidity that Cuba has (absolutely none) their health care system is...well..amazing. I have lived in Latin America... the ENTIRE developing world (from the hyper capitalist liek Costa Rica to the Socialist like venezuela) is looking to Cuba as an example as to how to improve their health care system. So..again, you sort of roll your eyes at things and do a kinda "oh don't get me started" thing... but that's what we all want you to do...get started. Tell us something that we won't hear when we tune into fox news.

Your idea that we need to impose freedom (i forget how u put it) in the countries where your boxer shorts (briefs?) are made is absurd. It is unrestrained capitalism that has people working in free trade zones for $.13/hour with no benefits, company housing, fascist rules, and subhuman working conditions. This is the same fate envisoned for US workers... Gringos are working more hours and making less real dollars than ever before... The middle class that once served as a validation for your opinions is disappearing. We're becoming more like the developing world (or the US before the new deal) in which there are rich and poor and not much in between..except maybe the managers, whose job it is to deal with the poor so the rich don't have to get their hands dirty. The "working class" we used to refer to with respect has become the "working poor." I can really understand how capitalism makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

One last thing... The Fox News study that you cite. The part that we should be paying attention to is that the study found them to be the most fair and balanced as compared to the other mainstream US media outlets. In a world where even the NYT and the WSJ have been co-opted by partisan spin doctors, who cares what the results of this study found. Do you really care which of the major news networks is 2.76% LESS FULL OF SHIT THAN THE OTHER ONES THAT ARE COMPLETELY FULL OF SHIT?

If you are getting your news from Fox or CNN, you're a tool. Its all propoganda owned by extremely large and powerful corporations. I don't need a boogeyman like the bilderberger group (that rich people sit around in clubs and talk about mutual self-aggrandizement does not surprise me... so if alex jones proves it, who cares? a bunch of conspiracy theorists will go "WE TOLD YOU SO!!!" and the world will move on) to know its all owned by a few who aren't planning on giving it up. All the US media outlets compared are subsidiaries of the same corps that make bombs and guns and tanks and...well, everything else. So telling me that Fox's corporate propaganda is more believable than CNN's isn't a very moving argument. They both seek to achieve the same thing... to make you stupid, uninformed and fearful. you will buy more bubblegum and duct tape.

They also have financial regulations fashioned by the US after the depression and WWII. It wasn't Germany that blew up the financial world. It was the US who deregulated Wall Street and let the dogs loose.

It's not about Cuba and China. It's about an actor named Reagan that piped about a shining city on the hill. It made most of us feel better about our country after Vietnam, Watergate and a bad recession. It went to some peoples heads though.

The capitalist would argue those countries would make less without their business. Those workers can't even afford to buy the boxers they make.

Well said. I can completely understand a rich conservative. I can't understand the rest. Like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders.

Who paid for the study? It's not just what you say but who you are and whether you're improperly influenced, ie money. The study might say USC but who conducted it?

IMO, the average person doesn't believe everything they hear or read. In this day and age, knowing what goes on in major media helps to cut through the bull and learn the facts.

All the US media outlets compared are subsidiaries of the same corps that make bombs and guns and tanks and...well, everything else. So telling me that Fox's corporate propaganda is more believable than CNN's isn't a very moving argument. BTW, Ted Turner said that if CNN's stock continues to tank, he could afford to buy it and wants to run the business again. CNN used to be a world voice for news without all the opinion (hate) that carries the network today. TT also said he'd chew Dobb's ass out and tell him to stop spewing hate and just report the news. Charlie Rose asked TT if he was serious.

"We had to do it to him before," sayeth the Ted.:biglaugh:

they may not believe it, or say the words "I don't believe anything I see on tv or read" however if you ask them their opinion they will invariably repeat the opinion of one set of pundits or the other.

This is where the science of repetition comes into play. My daughter was taught in kindergarten that if you repeat something 28 times, you will remember it. Its this bit of science that forms the basis for the 24 hour news cyclists... repeated often enough and in the absence of GOOD, REAL information and analysis this will be the information that informs their opinions.

i dont have to try and get my points across to people who havnt even looked into the subjects appart from they know the subjects exist through the tv.

a decent ammount of time, alot of available infomation + an actually thinking mind = see through the REAL crap,

when im watching different videos on seperate subjects and when one video backs up the claims of another on a different subject, thats when you know theyre all pointing at the at the same flaws and that those flaws are existing no matter what your led to wanting to believe.

look back at all the other dictatorships that have sparked up in the past 100 years, do you honestly think all the people under the rule of the dictatorship, like the people you see cheering for hitler in videos, realy realised they were screwed and were doing bad things?

simple awnswer, NO.

they were drawn away from the facts by their goverments.

shit just repeats itself through history, and most americans are sitting in the repeat.

Climate change is a interesting subject. There are so many opinions on this one I'm gonna sit back and see what happens. In the meantime, it makes sense to curb carbon emissions. How to do it is debatable. Even if government has good in mind with carbon caps, Wall Street will find a way to synthesize money from credits. Another bubble in the making.

there is evidence out there which shows the temp of theearth and even other planets is to do with the ammount of sunspots exposed to us at one time, and apparantly the ammount of sunspots come in waves.

there were times in the middle ages where it was much hotter than it is now.

oh and dont worry wallstreets already going to make alot of it, check out obamas advisors, all wallstreet.

I read we're about to enter a cooling phase of the sun. Hopefully it will coincide with Earth's warming, lol.

I got a feeling Obama is getting ready to regulate at least parts of the financial sector. Maybe the wolf or three are showing him how the good ol' boys network operates. Besides, he's only been in office 9 months. Give him some breathing room, the last guy had eight years.

under his stimulous plan, most of that money was spent on buying out indipendant banks and insurence companys,

thats all federal reserve property now, and if you think the federal reserve is ok?

realy do look into it, jfk was against it, lincon was against it, and theres a reason why they were and why they were killed.

you have all infomation available open to you, the only way anybody can realy be convinced, is when they find out for themselfs, not the television not a internet debate.

sorry if this seems very personal, but its to all.

I agree, stimulus money was used by banks to buy other banks. Too big to fail is only getting bigger for now. It'll get worse before it gets better. Where I disagree is where the loot ends up. It's still with the private institutions that got bigger as a result of tarp assisted consolidation. The Fed is a separate entity from private institutions. Money flows between them but private ops get to keep their loot. The robbery was against tax payers.

realy do look into it, jfk was against it, lincon was against it, and theres a reason why they were and why they were killed.

Thanks for the tips. These conspiracy theories are just a little too far out there for my interests. peace
