I'm having odor issues as well, I think I damaged my Filter by having humidity too low back in January. I have a new one coming in next week, a Can 50. Hopefully this will kill the stink!!
I hope you get it sorted out Hazy, your room sure deserves some good odor control!!
That Shack is indeed killer Old Soul.
I'm bumping with this post just so I can repost this pic large:
I really think that I got it right this time Che. I've gone up on a ladder to my vent outside and can't smell the girls anymore. Used to catch a whiff outside always, depending on the wind. I'm lucky I have no close neighbors, if I lived in a regular neighborhood, I would have already been busted.
Inside the house, I no longer can smell the grow. I can even leave the door to my 'office' open.
So you got a can50 now? What's that got, like 50 pounds of carbon. That should do ya. Hope you get it taken care of.
Thanks, Maj. Here's a repeat of my fav catus pic above.
Yeah, Now that's a honky tonk song. Funny, I've been calling old time twangy crying in your beer cheatin songs and such, hard Country for a long time. I'm not the only one I guess. Found a website that plays 'hardcore honky tonk' 10gallonradio.com
Sup cd, I'm gonna go out to the cactus forest and get some really wild pics one day soon. But saw this a little closer to home.
Old Soul~ I got the triple layer filters hooked up to my exhaust fans.
I also got a single layer with a cheap duct fan on it in the room recirculating. I don't recommend getting the single layer scrubbers at all. Even to recirculate, I want to clean the smell in one pass, cause new smell being generated all the time, so there's always some that hasn't hit the scrubber yet.
hell yea that sugar shack looks dank bro, you got a really nice shot too one of the best I've seen you take to be honest. Smoking some GI my buddy grew, he got 1 pound from 1k in a 3 by 3 closet. Pretty good considering he only used a 1 part nutrient lol.
great shots hazy.is that a horny toad?if it is,and it looks like one,i caught one when i was in tx. one time,my lil cousin would lay it on its back and it would fall asleep and when he turned it upright it would wake up.tripped me out.
...the ladies are lookin great as always too my man.peace-T-
Hells yeah i love how you keep it perpetual hazy. Damn i wish i could start doing perpetual again but i am stuck in a damn routine already. Always more fun when a couple diff things are growing at once. Keeps the lungs happy.
Jack~Thanks, the Shack is killer, and that's a 1 gallon pot. I am starting to get some plants into 2 gallon pots, to try to up the yield.
Hey cali~ If he can pull a pound every 2-3 months. Hmmm. That's awesome. Was he using floranova?
Thanks, you talking about this pic?
Yep, that's a horny toad Tona.
He's a Regal Horned Lizard. Basically a Sonora Desert critter. In Texas, you'd have seen P. mcalli or the P.modestrum in the bottom row of this pic
Hell, I think your grow is pretty much perpetual Chubby.
Got to keep variety in stock. How long do you usually let the PK go to? I accidentally chopped the PK on the 21st, i thought it was a GAK, it was kinda dark when i chopped haha. Then I go "oh fukk" The PK was at 39 days. It's bomb smoke even at only 39 days and has decent legs. I'm really impressed. Just wondering how early I chopped it. I put up a dry bud shot, but my cam has dead batteries.
Some Purple Kush that's not purple:
B/R~ I'll have some nice nature shots as long as Spring has the blooms going. I'll try to get some dry SS flower shots later too.
Repost of this little House finch:
screw the horny toad..isnt that Joe Namath or Montana on the poster?!?! how long you had that thing hangin there hazy? couple decades maybe? lmao!
nice not purple kush too..looks very smokable too me..even if its not purple..
Haha! yeah that's joe montana. I guess i had that thing for a while now.
I think I'll make that my default background for plant pics.
Jack, indeed that PK is killer.
Here's some more killer. A little Sugar Shack just dry.
And I just got these. Nuggetshiner ain't around here much now, but he's a great friend and always will be.
I've grown the Silver Lights, before and it was some of the best I've had. Great plants. Should have got a mom.
These have big potential.
Hey hazy! Yea! They made it. Thanks for the kind words. I'll always be following your
thread as long as your posting. I have had two of the SLights girlz going for over a year
now. Still trying to figure out which i like better. I was playing around and checking
germination on the silverd & guard'nd and have two gd and nine silverd at about two
weeks. If you don't mind I'll post a few pics in here as they get more interesting.
The sugar shack just looks sweet for some reason, maybe its the name. Nice work.
hazy - "I accidentally chopped the PK on the 21st, i thought it was a GAK". Lol, you need
bigger labels, ha ha ha. Well at least no whole plants have gone missing, lol.
The pics of the horny toad remind me of visiting my uncle in San Antonio. We went to the
Hemisfair. Bet not many remember that. I was prob 8 or 9. That dates me, lol. Visiting them
was the first time I saw a firefly, that was cool and I musta let 200 horny toads piss on
my hands, lol.
Take Care hazy, NS
PS By the way I wouldn't take cd's advice... cd - "screw the hornytoad..."
Tell me something about the Sdog NS. Sounds good imo. Gonna pop one of them soon.
Dog~
Potted up a PK into a two gallon pot. It's part of my new resolve to get the yield up and the plant # down. Here's a GAK that's in an Easter Basket hempy bucket. It's in coco/perlite. Blowing everything else away in growth.
------
Here's a big lap dog. i'll pull this in few days for security reasons.
mama dove and her babies. They're gone from the nest today.
Hey hazy, beautiful dog bro! What size pots were you using before? What kind of yield were you getting? I just actually downsized pots to half gallon so I could add a few more plants and I don't think it will hurt my yield that much as my roots weren't even filling the 1 gal bags I was using. I find with coco that my plants that are close to root bound at the end perform better and faster than the ones that have extra root space.
