You know, I've heard ppl say Coco has to be DTW, but all these threads I read, and all these people are using it in in Hydro w/ drip & Ebb and Flow, with great success. If I have to do DTW, I'll just go back to Hydroton, and recirculate. Also I'm not using RO, it's tap water, and it has barely anything measurable on the TDS. Only 30 PPM.far as the roots go it's the coco
as far as the ph goes its very hard to get a good ph reading in ro water; the lack of conductivity in the water can mess up the meters; try a strip or liquid drops... it could also be if you're recirculating nutes with the coco; coco likes dtw as it tends to get buildups overtime although its very forgiving and easy to flush if that actually does happen
I didn't even know I had gotten responses recently. Thanks for sharing ur experience with us, KM.Cutting Edge Solutions is local to my area. I've tested them side by side by side compared to Nova, and GH 3 part. Better results by far. Their additives definitely aide their 3 part lineup. Like stated above, the PH regulates its self in a way, which I find to be pretty convenient. Very simple. Find the right mix depending on your strain, add some Humboldt Roots/Roots Excel.during veg, and any bloom boost during flower. Floralicious plus is good too, however optional. But always, Rock The CES!!
Lol. The name of the thread is: If you HAD TO ABSOLUTELY pick from 1 of these nute companies which would it be? Not What nute co. should I use.
I have about every line of nutes(commercial companies), so the question was targeted towards 4 specific nute lines.
Beside those 4 mentioned, I have pretty much the whole line of,
2)Botanicare's CNS17 & Pro Blend line
Bingo.
3-1-2 and 3-1-4 nutrient ratios. People talk about AN basing their mixes on cannabis leaf tissue analysis. I have a feeling that Botanicare is as well, even if they don't say so publicly.
From there it depends on the medium, the intensity of the lighting, etc. For myself, in coco using 600s and 1Ks, I think CNS17 Hydro grow, yes hydro grow, is a complete, one part nutrient that could be used from start to finish without any other additives, nor Calcium or Magnesium supplementation.
