I used to say South Africa, now I lean towords Portugal or Spain (Barcelona!). I hate the winter.

in a perfect world it would be someplace nice and warm tropical maybe where we can live off the land and thrive naked in the wilderness lol no really dont know what country best to live in have not gotten to travel much as I would love to. we would be road warriers if I had my way about it and in my profession that is a definate possibility. 911 stopped me from flying and I had just got the hang of flying just earlier. never again
it would have to be someplace warm and where we can survive well and not in this rat race in the states as we have it now. maybe buy an island or large amout of land and just live off the land somehow. If possible live in a underground house so no need for heat or air stays 68 year round. He and I go back and forth were do we need to move to or not move to. Right now we feel we are just stuck because of the ecconomy and the new developments of Obama administration. would love to have an awesome tree house type dwelling someplace that is tropical somewhat like what the old 70s movie swiss family robertsons had. oh no just told my age lol
right now sitting on the edge of our seats wanting to know what is going to happen in the next few years. Times are very unsettling and unstable at this point and time, but if it were a perfect world would be a warm place no cold weather 68 is the coldest that we would want. and in the perfect world no rift raft people just nice and good people that are honest and loyal and good hearted with good morals. so if you find this perfect place please let us know we will start packing our bags the moment we know about it

I've been told that I could get, in writing, on official stationary permission to possess, use, grow cannabis and cannabis related products in a certain province in a southeast asian country, that my wife comes from and whose grandmother has considerable political powers.

I lived there for nearly 3 years, enjoy the people, the food, enjoy the fact that nobody understands a word I'm saying and I enjoyed watching cnn asia. Hate the politics but hey, the US is even more socialist in some ways, less in others but if you have the right connections anywhere it can smooth out some of the bumps.

We own a house there but I'd want a cottage on the sand somewhere which if done here would suck up all the retirement monies that I'd so much rather give to the various doctors along the way while being disected little by little which is such fun.

Important info for making such decision: my health. Overall I'm alive. Victimized by a cardio-thoracic surgeon in a failed open heart surgery and have kept a step ahead of the devil with edta chelation and other actions. Serious chronic pain and it's not going to get better as I age and I'm near 60 ( wife is 33. We've been married for 13 years. Yeah I know , I know, it has it's learning curve but it's the greatest :tiphat: ) and now find out advanced osteoporosis in lower spine wand osteopenia in hips. Has become tough to walk at times. What I'm saying is we're quickly reaching shit or get off the pot stage or else won't be able to in a matter of...........if we learn one thing when we age we learn there's no advance warning in most cases, suddenly you're in chronic pain, suddenly you are a heart patient etc. Most of us. Has been a bundle of surprises here let me tell ya.

Does it sound like I'm selling myself on the idea? Maybe a little. Going to try flying there soon, as soon as the dental work is finished which we're close. It's been a year of dental work. A year. 12 months. Every couple of weeks for a year and as soon as it's done which should be next month I think we'll try going. See how I get by on such a flight and see how it goes ......

You younguns, take care of yourselves, mind, body and spirit

Spain. The country might just lean left enough for me to be happy there. I'm sick of predatory businesses able to operate with impunity and huge chunks of wealth in the hands of a select few.
Slack pot laws and nice weather do not seem too bad either.

the happy isles. Seroiusly they are a happy happy people.

You can buy land there (lease hold but im not going to live more than another 99 years)
SHit just grows out of the ground as its volcanic mountainous with mega rainfall (think a younger version of hawaii with bugger all development).

Its a bonafide tax haven. The politicians / police are trully corrupt but in a good way so if you find yourself in a situation you shouldnt be in being able to buy your way out of trouble and to the airport to get the hell out of there.

It has incredible fishing. Really big doggies, marlin all the usual suspects.

ONe of the biggest exports is beef. Cows graze in coconut plantations. A good steak is worth its weight in gold.

You can make your own biodiesel from your coconut plantation and grow other interesting crops such as kava, vanilla, sandlewood, teak. You can employ people to do things for you and you can become a proper plantation owner like the old days with out the slavery.

Its only 3 hours by plane back into Sydney so its not like outer mongolia.

I wanna live where I can grow all the weed I want for myself, and not get in trouble for it. Someplace nice where I can grow two crops a year outdoors, and still grow inside too. That way there will never be any down time as far as growing goes. I would prolly end up giving away shit loads of weed, because that's how much I love to just grow it. God how I love to grow............
